What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

The other day I tried my hand at Plastidipping and posted a couple pictures in the process. It didn't come out the way I had planned. I wanted to cover the whole front grill and rear 4Runner emblem entirely. I ruined that idea when I started removing the taped off sections around the pieces. It pulled up the Plastidip. So I figured I'd remove it and try it again, down the road. This is what I had ended up with.

You know, I kind of like it this way...though I wonder how it would look if you peeled the inside of the rear Toyota emblem, so that it's just a black emblem and chrome background.

There's got to be someone on here who's done it that way. I just want it all black. I hate the chrome.

You know that the wings can be removed to dip them. That way you don't need to worry about taping things up.

Pat, the install looks good. Do you have any output picture with dually's on. I was thinking about installing dually's there too, because when i drive at night stock light is not enough for me. What kind of pattern are they, flood or spot?

You know that the wings can be removed to dip them. That way you don't need to worry about taping things up.

Thanks Mikey, I know. I just didn't feel like taking it apart at the time although it probably would have taken the same amount of time as the taping off if not less.

Had my 5100s installed. Ride is extremely improved and the nose dive is just about gone.

I didn't forget you Alex...I didn't get done wiring them up until 10 last night, and still had to clean up. I have to aim them tonight, so I'll get you some shots.
