Ya, its Anderson Truck Trail. I went down the wrong fork and hit a locked gate but it was a nice trail and the whole trip was an excuse to go to Alpine Brew pub anyway.

Dropped the recently bought 4Runner off at the Sioux Falls Toyota location this morning as its making an odd noise while running. Now I'm stuck at my hotel waiting to see what the problem is. :mmph: Didn't want to make the 1200 mile trip home with the annoying noise!

I've only had the car for about 2500 miles and it never made the sound up until a week or so ago. The noise is heard once the car warms up and can be heard when the car is running and even in park. It's a constant faint thumping noise and it's heard better inside the car then under the hood. It's not real loud but is constant once car is running. (Hard to describe a noise).

well you drove 1200 miles so get it checked out but I think yo are describing what we ALL hear

went to Gore, Va this past weekend for the Big Dogs Main Jambo.. i saw another silver 5th gen 4runner but never had a chance to talk to whoever it was.

Picked up some lightly used Michelin Latitude X-ice Xi2's on steelies with hubcaps. They are 265/70R17 and still have 9/32 of tread left. They came off a 2011 Limited and were road force balanced. I figure I saved about $600. Guy traded in for an Audi.

Ready for winter.

I have seen someone here paint just the center portion black (inside of that rectangular/oval outlined area right around the head unit face) and IMO it makes a huge difference visually. Really fills in the dead space nicely IMO. You should try that first before diving in and painting the entire thing black

Johnny Utah painted his black and I actually saw it in person at Bobby's shop. It looks much better this way IMO...and NO I didn't take this picture! LOL
