IMO, It's a design defect that Toyota can't seem to correct in their T4Rs. My 2011 is bone stock OEM and it's had that 60 mph shake since I have had it. It's very pronounced on worn roads which have studded tire wear. New roads seem to lessen the shaking, but it's still there at around 60 mph. The dealer has blamed tires, wheels, alignment but it's still there at around 60 mph. I believe it's some sort of harmonic affect in the front end design of the T4Rs. It's the only annoyance I have with my T4R. One shop said they might toe in or out the tires to stop the shaking, but that would eat up the tires premature. Hopefully, someone will come up with the silver bullet to fix the 60 mph shake.

I've never had an issue at higher speeds. I'd feel it from time to time around 50-60. I would just rebalance my tires and it would stop…until after the next wheeling trip. But this time it threw me for a loop at the higher speeds. After just cleaning up some things, it completely went away. The steering wheel doesn't move a hair. Feels great. …It must have been the waxing of the wheels :thumb: lol!

5/21 Trail Runs

Ran a couple mild trails on Wednesday. Cutting together the GoPro footage in the next couple days, nothing spectacular, but I think it's pretty cool.

Tried to get up to Bill Moore Lake, but got stopped by snow.

Finally got the 4Runner back from the wrap shop yesterday. Looks fantastic although there are some minor imperfections if you look very close, but overall I'm happy with the results and the cost. Speaking of cost, I have some bad news for those of you who were asking about pricing... he said won't being doing the next one for 2K. Turns out there was a lot more disassembly work than he expected. Also picked up four Toyota OEM TPMS sensors yesterday. Now... about those tires and wheels.

Looks pretty good I can't imagine how they even did that round the front grill and such areas...

2k is a pretty good price, my hood alone was $400
