Great....thanks for posting. I just ordered my 255/80/17 Cooper ST Maxx spare after being convinced by [MENTION=77370]Gabex35[/MENTION] that it fits. I was measuring the available space and really couldn't see it fitting either...lol. So good to see you made it work!

Based on the website info, the Cooper ST Maxx LT255/80/R17 is listed to measure 32.8 x 10.2 inches on a 7 inch rim and the BFG KM2s in the same size is listed at 33.3 x 10 inches on a 7 inch rim. Cross my fingers anyway.

Got all the windows tinted with 18% and had most of the front wrapped with 3M clear bra. Also had the mirrors, center console, and inside door handles wrapped. Hopefully in the next few days my new escort radar detector and smart cord will be here so I can install that. I may order some Bud Built sliders tomorrow as well.

Somewhat reluctantly, parked the 4R for a month to experience the EcoDiesel Ram. Already averaged 8.2 L/100 km (28 US mpg) on a highway trip. 420 lb.-ft. is interesting.

Put on new steel RCI front skid plate - destroyed my aluminum a few weeks ago (operator error). RCI customer service is absolutely incredible!!

Put GoPro mount on roof (just in front of sunroof) in anticipation of videos during FJ Summit next week.

Replaced my GY Silent Armors with Duratracs.

Are those Konig Six Shooter in Anthracite Grey or BFD 18" ones. Can't wait to see the install pictures. Trying to decide if i want to go with Six Shooters or BFDs one and what color flat black or Anthracite Grey, cause my truck is black.

First, saying front skid was destroyed is bad choice of words. Better to say I crunched it, and cosmetically it didn't meet my standards. In fact, I could have straightened it out and fixed the rivet for the door and would have been fine.

Here it is, after replacing it with RCI steel plate.

I REALLY liked the looks of the aluminum plate when new, and would have kept it but for the cosmetics, and the fact that I do a fair amount of driving where I would continue to bash and scratch the aluminum.

I highly recommend the RCI plates, either aluminum or steel, and their customer service is outstanding! I go the replacement steel plate within two weeks of my call to Josh.

As to how the aluminum plate got bashed, I was driving too fast through some standing water puddles on the road and found one with a big rock at the bottom. :roadkill:
