Today I decided to paint my fenders of my 2014 Trail Edition Prem. to help break up the lines of the truck. Truck looks much better now ;-)
Turned out great! I was contemplating that as well but got discouraged when I realized that part of the flares are actually molded with the fenders rather than full separate components; made me nervous about screwing up an entire fender(s)...lol. Nice job!
Crawled out of the passenger side window after laying it on its driver's side. Fortunately, it was nice soft sand so minimal, if any body damage.

Looks great man ... good job. That's how the TE should look.

Sorry, didn't take any. Was busy trying to get it back upright before the impending monsoon.Pictures please?
Nope, just the winch. By some miracle, there were 2 just big enough scrub trees about 30 feet away at nearly the perfect angle. There wasn't another solid winch point for at least 800 yards. Please don't say a Jeep had to right you...

The trail was sand and the recent rains had cut a huge rut. Was trying to squeeze by when the wall of the rut gave way. Fortunately it was a gentle slide into soft sand.Glad to hear you and the truck are OK Jeremy! That's some great luck too, got some seriously hard working guardian angels
How did it happen btw?

I know about that one, just really, really didn't want to have to dig. In this case, there were abundant logs around, so I would have used one of those and left it buried. For future, if there's nothing else, you can dismount your spare, hook the winch line or other rigging to it and bury the spare. If the angle is low, it doesn't have to be buried very deep. Your spare makes a pretty good dead-man.
