What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Took my one year old son into the ER, he had a 103 temp and had a seizure. One of the most scary feeling in the world is to hold your child in your arms while they are seizing and you can't do shit. Retrospectively, it was one of the most humbling to experience.

Looking back at the events, I feel very lucky to have a reliable vehicle to take care of my family. Yes, it's more of a mall crawler, but I believe in being over-prepared. Duratracs for me was an overkill, but I drove faster than I normally would in snowy conditions and I had complete control. So the Duratracs IMO paid for itself. If there was a traffic jam, I would hop the curb and drive on the snow covered lawn/sidewalks and know I would make it to the hospital with no time lost, so the lift that allowed me to comfortably go bigger in tire size to increase my clearance for snow was worth it to me. I could go on but I just want to say I would not be able to do any of those things without the helpful reviews and answers to my silly noob questions. Thank you everyone and Happy New Year!

I know that feeling of being helpless and just praying to whoever will make it better. Glad things are better and here's to a healthy, happy new year!

Haven't posted on here in a while. Went overseas for work and haven't really done much with the truck other than fix Jackson's Hole as the dent in the rear quarter panel had come to be known.
I made it home for 8 days over Cristmas and we managed over 2k miles from Houston to Durango to Denver. I pulled the RTT off and left in Houston for now.

Happened to my son too. I think that one solution is to apply ice to the head to reduce the temperature?

is it just me or does the 2014+ 4runners not come with a cover over the battery posts like older versions did.

seems kinda odd I noticed this when I was trying to thaw out the windshield wiper bucket since I forgot to drain it out of summer bug wash and put in some -35F fluid for winter.

Not a very exciting drive since it was pavement all the way, but headed east out of Seattle on I-90 to Rattlesnake Lake and the trail up to Rattlesnake Ledge. No rattlesnakes (none at all in western Washington), but typical Northwest low elevation winter hiking: drizzle and mud and some icy spots on the trail. The fog thickened as we climbed, but a few times it brightened up and made the moss glow neon green. Finished up in the dark as the rain finally let loose.
