I got new wheels & tires

After 3k miles, I finally removed the 20" Limited wheels that came with my 4R. I was OK with the look of the 20" wheels, however I do most of my off-roading on soft sand and mud and the narrow sidewall of the 245/60's did not allow for much airing down. I considered getting 275/55r20 tires, but did not want to go off-spec while using the 7" wide LE wheels. So I purchased a set of new 18 x 7.5" 4th Gen LE wheels from a local dealer's part department and paired them with a set of Michelin LTX A/T2. I was going back and forth on getting 265/65r18 vs 275/65r18. In the end I went with the 265/65s since I'm keeping the stock 20" spare and the overall diameter of both tires was within 0.01" of each other (31.56" vs 31.57"). This translates in just an extra 0.1% revolutions per mile, which should work OK as the temporary spare given the full-time 4WD. Also, the 265/65s gave me a very decent 17% sidewall increase vs the 245/60s.

I bugged plenty of members with questions, so I want to thank [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] for the tire fitment guide and [MENTION=70104]MarkWalker[/MENTION] and [MENTION=4925]Jeff M[/MENTION] for answering my questions regarding their experience with 4th Gen LE wheels on their 5th Gen 4Rs.

Touched up my rock sliders and did a test run plastidipping the front silver trim (testing to see if I would like the look of a Slimline front bumper). Changed engine oil and front and rear diffs along with cabin air filter. She was abused over the holidays so it was time to make it up to her.

So I had a shorty antenna , got snapped off , couldn't get it out , re-threaded & replaced with the stubby IDK beats a hole I guess ? Reception seems ok ! Also debadged the sr5 off , still see the outline a little desert sun is tough on that stuff ! :artist2:

Why no pics you say? Opened the case to a dead battery, doh! So frustrated I didn't bother with the iPhone. Where's Jblick when I need him! I mean the ice chunks flowing in the Platte were awesome!

No Pics here either but I tow-strapped a delivery guy's Honda out of a ditch in Highlands Ranch. Kinda icy and way more snow than his tires could handle.
