What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Took my wheels and sliders off my '13 2 weeks ago. Prepped and painted the scratches from the wreck.

In the last 3 weeks and 1500 miles, got my Boss Kit installed, mounted 285 DTs on Konig Countersteer Type X in their new graphite color, bolted up my old metaltech OPORs, ordered a set of laminix fog covers, and today...getting Alignment done now(and hopefully my Morimoto HID kit installed tonight)

It was, I took the wheels, tires, my LED bulbs and sliders off.

Reinstalled the rear bumper with the silver trim now plasti-dipped black and re-clipped on from being torn off. Some of the clips actually broke off vs the white retainers breaking but it seems to be snug enough for now.

Sorta works with TE rack ! Little snug in the rear because of the narrowing of this rail style . Many thanks to [MENTION=111795]GabrielM[/MENTION] for the heads up on the rails being shorter in the rear . Like to slide it rearward a little to center it but might push the rail right off ?

Took the 4R for a very quick, 2 day trip to Vegas from SoCal. Enjoyed the very pleasant ride with enough power to pass and cruising speed. Had to keep checking the speedo to keep it under 80-85! Only took 3 and half hours! So glad to have taken this for a fun trip instead of the Prius!

Yeah I've been off work for almost 9 weeks now, permitting for all the job's i'm supposed to keeps getting pushed. Sucks to be in construction sometimes, but ohh well my choices...

Anyone in the Portland Area know of any overland trails? I'm going to start going out more and just driving, been couped up WAY to long...

Dropped the 4R this morning at the shop for alarm install before I go adding the more tempting parts to it. I'm having the 5806V installed and looking forward to the remote start.

Did I read correctly that I can have the windows/moonroof/rear hatch tied into the system to lower and raise them from the remote? Does that require extra modules?

I have a quick question, I'm not a tire guru, I'm in Central Oregon the birthplace of Les Schwab Tires so the hype here are Toyo's. I'm just wondering why you chose Cooper ATP's, any specific reason? I'm about to order the sidewinder's from discount tire here locally and just want to make sure I'm making the right tire choice, thanks

You can have this feature with the factory key fob so I would think you could with aftermarket i guess

No specific reasons but since I was new modding truck and have no experience with off road tires, I wanted a happy medium. Quality, performance, looks, price etc, in no particular order was something i wanted. I initially had the Continental LX20 because i was worry about gas but was not happy with the looks and wanted something aggressive. With one of the LX20 having a radial pull, I was given the opportunity to switch along with positive feedback on the ATP, I went for it. It gave me the aggressive thread I was looking for, 55k miles warranty, no road noise, super affordable, and little affect of MPG. Until I get out more in the dirt and have more experience on what my use and needs are, these will do for now. =)

Removing Baffles/Silencers

Did some shopping and prepping to remove the stock baffles. Has anyone in the last year tried this? Stock intake silencer/baffles removed?

New N-Fab stuff

Added some new N-Fab stuff. The rock rails found on that 4runner Baja Chase vehicle. They are nice and relatively inexpensive. They are definitely not true custom sliders but I think they would take a hit but not much more. Very solid and good powder coating. Removable steps coming. That's a whole other story dealing with 4wheel parts. Installed them at my buddy's shop. Had to do a little modifying but not bad really.
