Toytec 14 top plate spacer installed
Today I had the toytec 14 top plate spacer installed and I think it came out perfect for me. It still has a little rake and this helps because I do tow dirt bikes and such. It's hard to see but there is a little lift in the front there. I definitely didn't want to be nose high so I went conservative and I think it's great. These pictures don't really show it well but I think it's raised by about 1/2 an inch and that's what toytec said it would do. A little closer to what the preproduction models where showing.

Opinion poll: Should I leave it all black? Or peel off to reveal the chrome under the Toyota logo and 4RUNNER letters?
Does this whole assembly snap off or do you need to remove it from the inside?

I drove to school. And then I came home and mucked out horse stalls. I don't normally complain about the weather, but I am tired of donning my Carhartt suit to spend an hour outside taking care of four horses every day when I get home. Even a few days in the thirties would be like paradise.
My husband and I have decided we know what cold is: its when you take a hot shower and the water coming off you is cold. Too many days like that...we need a break!!!

Picked this up today. Was surprised at how stout it seems. It's actually kinda heavy. Going off this post for the idea. I'm somewhat concerned it'll break the plastic trim piece though. Hopefully [MENTION=112895]balistikboy[/MENTION] can provide an update on how the trim is holding up.

I've been using that for a few months now, but without his backing plate, just some fender washers and nuts in back. No problems so far. The plastic is pretty flexible, so I doubt it will break from normal use. Part is under $50, if it does.

Yes, it solve the issue I had. I just didn't find the courage to remove the crossbar with the extreme cold we had.
Do you have the same issue with your 2010?
