Got the hookup with some 265 70 17 Duratrac's on 17x8 -10 Level 8 MK6's...awesome tire, had minor, minor rubbing on right side flap, so removed both. These are P metric I know but there are literally no offroad trails here and this is my DD...very faint but pleasant hum at varying speeds, they balanced out perfectly.

What wiring kit did u use?

It's a BOSS Audio Systems KIT2 (8 gauge) and the Blue Sea Systems 6 circuit fuse block. The wire kit probably isn't ideal as 8 gauge is too small to fully utilize the the fuse block, but I only plan to add a small compressor and possibly some lights so I don't need all 100amps. The kit came with a 50amp fuse. It seemed cheaper to get the kit than to pick up the parts individually. I'm using some of the wire, the fuse holder and fuse, a couple of the terminals, and the wire loom. There's lots of extra wire in the kit.

Got caught up working and forgot to get pics along the way. That and we needed 4 hands for a lot of the work. Piece of cake once you figure it out... except for the KDSS, kind of a pain.

You want to make sure the fuse protects everything else so it should be rated for less than anything else in the circuit. In my case, the fuse block is only rated for 100amps so a 100amp fuse would be max otherwise the fuse block could fail before the fuse. Also the wire gauge will determine fuse size. I think 8 gauge wire is only rated for 50 amps. For 100amps 6 or 4 gauge wire would be needed.

If you look for a kit that has 6 gauge wire, it would probably come with a higher rated fuse.
