over the entire trip, full loaded up, with armor, gearing and everything, trip average was 15.23 mpg after corrections for tire size and gearing, which wasn't too bad, all things considered.

Love my 4runner!!

Ordered the metal i need to make the spacers for my N-fabs! The guys at metal depot.com are very helpful and willing to answer any questions you might have!!!

With summer around the corner, this morning I took the truck in to get the exhaust re-routed out the side just behind the rear mud flap. Decided to put on a pretty tip while I was at it. I love having the rear window down, but am not a fan of the smell when you step on the gas. Can confirm that this largely solves the problem, as others on T4R have confirmed as well.

The shop was very accommodating and am very happy with the work and the price. Anyone interested in getting this done in Calgary can PM me and I can provide more detail.

Left SAC full to I-80 to Fernley then cut over to Highway 50. Stopped in Fallon, NV, Eureka, NV, Delta, UT and Moab, UT for fuel. The 4 fill-ups were about $160. Gas in Moab was at $2.74 per gallon.

I picked up some TRD Pro black wheels from a Toyota dealer in Buffalo NY. Special thanks to Toyota Canada for doing absolutely F&^%ing nothing to help me out, in fact TOYOTA CANADA has done everything in their power to stop me from buying a 4Runner, but I'm stupid and did anyways.

So big picture, I plasti dipped the front and back logos and the roof rails. and installed the TRD Pro wheels on my KO2 265/17 R70. Needless to say I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

-Toytec rear brake line extensions
-Metal Tech 3" rear bump stop extensions
-Trail Gear 1.25" wheel spacers all around

Now just to decide on tires! Been eyeballing the Kelly Safari TSRs as they are in my price range for an AT/MT 'tweener.

Have free time next weekend to install and will post up finished pics.

Bilstein 5100s came in (front and back) as well as 2 daystar 1.5" rear spacer kits. Turns out each box has two spacers in them, so now I gotta send one box back. My fault, dang it!

Will post before and after pics once I get around to it this weekend.

Followed a rabbit hole this am heading into work.
There's a trail that takes off the main road I travel and maybe a quarter mile down was where I thought it came out. It's pretty steep and very muddy looking from the road so I left early to check it out today because it hasn't rained in a while so my chances of getting into trouble were much less.
Well, the two trails did not meet up. More recon needed. Was definitely a cool trail though.
Sidebar, loving the look of a freshly muddied runner sitting in the garage at work surrounded by pretty shiny clean pavement pounders though.
