Got stuck for the first time. On my way home from the golf course I found a trail. It was just challenging enough without being too sketchy to do by myself, until I high centered in between two ruts of deep clay and dug the skid into the ground. I got down and dug in my golf clothes for about half an hour until I swallowed my pride and called my golf partner who came and saved my ass in his brand new Tundra platinum. He barely made it to me, but that thing is a beast and got through on sheer HP. It doesn't look brand new anymore though haha. Luckily I had a tow strap and D ring or I'd still be out there digging. Phone died when I called him so I just have a pic of the hole and my truck when I got home, kinda shows how deep in the $#!@ I was. Time to buy some MAXTRAX I guess.

That's awesome use of your truck! On a side note I picked up an off brand track, Maxsa from Amazon for pretty cheap, haven't had to use them yet so no idea if they compare, reviews were good.

Made the mistake of running some washes out near Saguaro Lake today. Added a bunch of new Arizona Pinstripes to the truck. Today it seemed like whenever the trail had a fork, no matter which one I take, it's the narrowest one with the most thorny trees crowding it. Screeeeeeeccccchhhhhh!

I'm prepping for my overland trip on the 7th of June, but i'm pretty flexible as i'm currently off work. If your schedule is flexible let me know what time works best for you? I love running these trails before weekends as less crowded. Otherwise we are looking at like the 20th of June?
