Re-Arranged my Back Side

I learned this weekend that I had a bit too much overhang. So I changed some mounting brackets around and brought the fuel and water cans in closer to the tailgate.

here is the old configuration.

Went to Borrego and Ocotillo this past memorial day weekend with the the wife and kiddos. Camped and visited the Mud Caves, Diablo Drop-off and Fish Creek Wash, while looking out for other T4R.org members. Enjoy.

4runner got some love today! BOSS, UCA's, spacers and new tires!

ok, its not as fabulous as alot of you guys...but...i took it into the dealer for the 30K scheduled maintenance...whooo hooooo....:second: BOOM!!!!


And, they are going to fix my broken driver side lumbar next month-under warranty, and give me a loaner for a week while they do the repairs...any possibility they'll let me take home a fresh Land Cruiser as the loaner...yeah, i didnt think so...they'll probably send me home in a nice new camry or corolla huh...?

Dipped my grille today. Looks good from a far but I fu*ked up cutting the dip with a razor blade in a few spots. Might re do it later down the road. Might just get it wrapped or painted. Sorry for the shitty iPhone pic, had to get it done and get in before the storm.

There's a trick to dipping... peel the tape before the dip dries and pull toward the dipped area slightly so you don't pull the dip in strings onto the bodywork.

I really like the blacked out front on the Storm Trooper!

I always get stuck with a brand new base model Camry (yay..) .. while my other buddies always get much cooler rides.

We went playing and decided to take both 5th gens....glad we did, the creek bottom gave out and sat her down on the frame, so I had winch my wife out. Great day trip though.

Made the mistake of running some washes out near Saguaro Lake today. Added a bunch of new Arizona Pinstripes to the truck. Today it seemed like whenever the trail had a fork, no matter which one I take, it's the narrowest one with the most thorny trees crowding it. Screeeeeeeccccchhhhhh!

I hear ya bro! The wife loves my truck, but she is kind enough to just look away right now instead of having another conversation about the paint. After charoleau gap, I've got some pretty messy sides.
Thankfully, though, my roof is in good shape since I've got a full length roof rack to protect it

My Metal Tech Stage 2 Sliders came in today... wasted no time installing them.
