Why are people still terrified of showing their license plates online?

This isn't Gone in 60 Seconds, no one is going to have their inside source in the DMV look up your address from your license plate from a picture that was posted online so they can steal your garden-variety 4-Runner.

You drive down the road with it showing to everyone, every day, what purpose does it serve to hide it on the internet?

i had a limited previously.. and was always worried about punching in the lower bumpers while wheelin.. i remember loving that the TE's had a raised unpainted bumper. since i've bought my TE i've punched in that area twice and i just heat it up and pop it back out

My buddy wheeling with us said the exact same thing. He's had to push his corner out a couple of times too. Just gotta find some time to get it done.

Too bad you didn't catch us. Great group this weekend. A little damage here and there but nothing too crazy. I dropped my rear bumper on something somewhere on Wildcat Stairway.

Should be able to push that back out once I get home. Seriously almost flopped it on it's side later in that run. Saved by my sliders. I could not have gotten my hand between the rig and the wall at any point from front wheel to rear wheel. Someone in my group has some pics of it I think. Didn't get far enough to the right and caught a wash out with both left tires and just slid into it. Got very lucky.

The rain has really done a number on many of these trails. Completely different than before.

I pushed in my rear bumper backing down that obstacle on top of the mountain everyone was playing on. Ran it the first time no problem, then went back and had some trouble. Had to back up to try another line and pushed in the corner of the bumper and filled the exhaust with dirt while backing down it. My friend was back there looking at it and said the exhaust pressure built up enough it finally blew all the dirt out in his face! Haha. I'll post a few more pictures when I have a chance. BTW, I've already been able to push out this dent. The Trail bumpers are pretty tough.

I know exactly what obstacle you're talking about. I did the same thing in the same spot and nearly pulled the rear bumper skin completely off.

Also....you asked about the run in wfo9's bumper thread. Here's what happened when you barely missed the line:

That was the exit where my slider saved me from going completely over.

Wish we could have wheeled more today but storms started to roll in about 6:00AM out there this morning. My son and I packed up and left. Hidden Falls is *extremely* sketchy when it gets wet.

Yikes! Glad you made it out of that. Yeah, when it gets wet that clay soil turns to grease. Not a good thing on the trails out there. Frankly, I hope they go back and rebuild some of the trails this summer. The back one along the fence line is getting extremely dug out. We watched a group of Jeeps slowly make their way down part of it. They told not to go up it, but we did with no problems! Granted, I would much rather go up than down anything sketchy, but I was glad we made it. Nice to have met you all too. We will try to join your group next time we're all there!

Grill emblem plasti dipped, lower chrome strip plasti dipped, TE headlights installed. Fog light bezels got plasti dipped too but it got dark before I could take a pic. Door handles plasti dipped, roof racks painted with bed liner, rear emblem plasti dipped. Still have to black out the side and rear chrome strips, get my new wheels installed along with the Daystar leveling kit and tints done. More pics to follow

Yesterday we floated 16 miles of the Delaware. I stopped counting eagles at 23. The fishing was splendid. On the way home we checked out a 97 LC. What is happening to my husband?

Then today we kayaked the Hudson, where I got a lousy cell phone pic. of an eagle who was irritated we got too close to him.

Weekends like this make Mondays difficult...

Also ordered a viair 400p auto air compressor. And my bilstein 6112/5160 are in my garage awaiting install. I'm going to be busy in the next few weeks!
