Finally got my new shoes on. Had them for about a month before I've finally had some time with all the crap I got going on.

Unfortunately the centre caps are quite off and I might have to end up either painting them black or maybe go with the silver TRD ones from Toyota.

Was going to remove the 3/4 inch spacers but the stance was a bit better with them on.

I was having some issues with a ticking noise on the driver's door panel as well as the back seat, driver's side...Took it to the service dept and they insulated driver's door and get this, they have to order a new back seat frame..seriously? All this after my wife and I using the back seat a dozen times, if that.

I'm rather upset to be having these issues at just under 10K miles, but am happy they are taking care of this for FREE. I would expect this kind of cheapness from Ford, but Toyota, really?

I was also having the mildew/sour smell from AC--I read the post on here recommending the Toyota AC Refresher Kit (PN 00289-ACRKT) and sent my service guy the article...done, FREE. Now the truck & AC smell like brand new! Thanks [MENTION=8206]harper7[/MENTION] !!

Waiting for the back seat frame to come in and will take truck back in for the swap.. I think they're setting me up a reserved parking space lol

A bit overkill but I helped a buddy pick up a king size mattress and box spring. I forgot to add a bit of air to the airbags.

It's 93°F and the tranny temp was sitting at 190°F towing at 55-60mph without the aux cooler lines installed.

Had to make a quick run to the store and ended up parking next to a 13' FJ TT/SE like I used to have...no contact with the driver...

The JFC TT is the only vehicle that'd make me consider swapping...

Took my boys to a local off road area after the completion of their last day of school this year. Got good and muddy and put the first dent in the skid plate. Good times!

Good-bye Canada

Left Canada in the rearview mirror this morning. Border crossing officer was a big 4runner fan and had to check out the rig from stem to stern. I think his superior was a little miffed that he spent so much time talking about my TEP. He welcomed us back home and we headed across the northern Cascades. Stopped in Sedro-Wooley at the TruckVault factory this afternoon. Steve checked out my install and gave us a tour of the factory.

Make sure its tirewet, easiest way to clean with no wipe. And yes, I shine the tires after each wash. The funny thing is I paid for the zactec clean and detail from the dealership and have yet to have it brought in for the dealer delivery detail.

CarPro Perl is probably the best tire shine I've used. I'm not really into that super shiny plastic look, this stuff gives more of a satin sheen but really brings out the black. Best part is it lasts for 3-5 washes no problem. Its a concentrate so you can use it for shining up your interior trim as well depending on the product to water ratio you use.

This reminded me of the last time that I returned from Canada. I was traveling with a friend that was driving a car with worn out trunk dampers. We got pulled for inspection when crossing the boarder. My friend remembered about the worn out dampers and was going to go back out to warn the officer, but was told to sit back down by another officer, citing "he will find that; we do this all the time." He found out, as he had a huge knot on his bald head when he returned from inspecting her car. :rofl:

Finally got some wiring in the back squared away....as usual...fin [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] was no Gdamn help...

I added a new Dometic (once you get use to cold drinks in the back it's hard to get aw a y from it) so my previous #16 wire wasn't cutting it. Plus I needed to add some USB'S on the passenger side.

I took out some of the OEM stuff, and replaced it with #12 wire. All in all, very happy with the rear configuration...USB's on both sides...dedicated 12v outlets able to handle seperate loads...I even left the wiring in for an addtional 500w inverter that I can use over the stock 400w inverter (100 if your idling)..I'm pretty happy now.

Got to have fun discovering the operation of the spare tire. Only took about an hour to figure out and change it occasionally looking across the street at Lucas Oil Stadium. A sidewall year at 70mph is not cool. Can't figure out if it's from the rice can muffler I hit last week or a defective tire that took 6 different times to finally balance in 10kmi.
