Finally did the DIY Home Depot Cargo Mat install. I tried taking it one further by tucking it in to all 4 edges. It's a bit bubbly from the carpet, but I think if I set some weight back there, it'll flatten it out. Not bad for $30 though.

Went deep water soloing at Pace Bend, visited a swimming hole, tubed a creek, went to the hardware store. Hands are ripped up from the wet climbing, but a good chill weekend.

Yet another traffic backup on I70 to head home so I took the scenic route, over Boreas pass (just a few cars, saw a nice buck). Then decided to head off Kenosha on Twin Cone, it was raining so no pics but that just made the trail that much more interesting. My 6yr old was happy since there was a creek crossing (a solid 4 inches deep, hey he's 6!). We had to turn back to make it home in time for dinner with the wife and daughter, they took the traffic route earlier in the day. The rest of the weekend was hard work so a nice way to wrap things up before the cube land tomorrow. At least I'll be driving in with a dirty truck, weekend success.

Had some good country road highway time during the 6 hour drive back to HTX from the folks' ranch in north central Texas. Took it all the way down to "1 mile" cruising range...which lasted ~7 miles? I made it to the gas station though!

Bahaha! I wouldn't recommend these skids. They are nice and light but very weak.

Not today, but over the weekend... Drove to Richmond, VA. I showed my dog for three days (winning two of the three, woot!), and met another T4R member and picked up his used rockers to replace my torn, scratched all to hell ones (not just aesthetic, my door is rubbing on the passenger side one). Rockers are only temporary, but for $100 I couldn't pass it up... once this dog finishes her championship I hope to dump some dough into my truck!
