Fits exactly in the front cup holders. Have bracketed extingisher in the back, but always like having one in the front crew compartment.
This solution works great so far and keeps it out of the way.

Not today but yesterday - plastidipped the emblems and the roof rack. May need to re-do the driver side SR5 emblem but we will see.

Not really - you just need a flat head screwdriver to pop off the caps and a 12mm socket wrench. I will say the rack was the hardest to plastidip. It didn't come out even. I may have to redo it.

In accident it could become a missile. So can water bottle but plastic hardness and total weight isn't the same. I agree with Diver Deuce. That fire extinguisher even though small and light should be secured.

I got a similar one in my 4runner. I actually caught air in my 4runner,not on purpose, but over never had mine move on me. Mine does sit in the driver rear door. I had one in a similar spot in my Tacoma with no strap but it's also snuggled in and you actually can't easily remove it. When I flipped my Tacoma my fire extinguisher didn't move, it stayed

Personally a huge fan of the Exige (I know its not an Exige) coming from a supercharged Miata.......maybe for my mid life crisis. They seem to devalue fairly fast (unlike the 4runner!)

Edit: I am kidding of course, I would not be concerned about the scratching of my truck but more of the clean up of the parking lot they are using and if they used the sponges etc on other peoples cars.......but it would be fun
