What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Went out to mom & dad's place and put the winch to an alternative use - we pulled out a bunch of willows and a couple poplars that dad wanted to get rid of to make more parking space before my sister's wedding next month.

I'm thinking of getting the ARB fridge but after seeing the cost of these I'm re-thinking it. Aside from the major price difference, any other benefits to the indel?

I have the 37 qt ARB fridge and I love it! My wife & I did a 2500 mile road trip and used it the whole time to keep drinks and snacks cold. On our next trip we'll be doing camping / cooking out and i'm sure it will come in handy to keep everything nice and cold. Although it does complain if the engine is not running to keep the power draw from getting too low. The ARB fridge won't turn on if the key is only on the ACC mode. Maybe I need a bigger alternator? i dunno. But on long trips and at night, I can see the LED read out in the rear view mirror reflecting off the back window so it's easy to see the temp of what is inside. Stayed between 22-27F the whole time! :satan:

Threw on the temporary Rola roof basket. Not feeling it so much. Going to be using it for my second spare. I should have originally ordered my rear bumper with the swing out. Right now it's temporary until I decide if I want a full rack or not. This thing's somewhat heavy as is at about 40 lbs, I couldn't imagine that much weight on the roof while wheeling with a full aftermarket rack and accessories piled on.

I thought that originally at first, but I have my full GOBI plus hi-lift and sometimes camping gear. Never felt like it compromied my center of gravity yet. Done some pretty steep/tippy stuff with no feel of any loss of control. There was someone else(i'm really bad at memory, side affect of my medicine) that just did MOAB and more with a CVT which is all together 150 lbs or so easily on the roof with no problems.

Just my 2 cents, but next to do some crazy rock gardens, I feel completely comfortable with my weight up there.

Tested out and test fit the fridge today. Got cold, and doesn't make a sound, pretty nice so far. It's a bit tall though, can't fully open the lid, but can open enough to get into it easily. Guess I need to figure out a slide.

Missed my truck... took my wife's car to the mtns 32mpg was nice and it cruises the fast lane. But it's not my 4Runner... got home and put my air filter back in as it had dried from getting washed out, drove it to the grocery store, happy again.

Thanks man. At the time of buying the bumper, I just couldn't add anymore weight due to the amount of driving I was doing.

Finally got around to installing my ladder. Simple and straightforward process but the directions were a different story... only an engineer could write an entire page of instructions for something that could be said in 4 sentences haha. Spent more time trying to interpret them than i did actaully putting stuff together. Then I went and got muddy.
