Made a run to the dump with a trailer full of paneling, sheetrock, carpet, etc. from demoing the upstairs of the cabin. Yeah, I take my 4Runner to all the best places.

To make up for, I let it haul a new sofa later in the day

At the tint shop now getting my fronts done. Also got the tracking number that my TRD Pro suspension is enroute. Not a bad day.

Thanks man! The color has really grown on me, I was hesitant to go with it at first but I love it. This was a maintenance trail on Fort Belvoir that I now realize is of questionable legality... just a two track into the woods with no signs or anything but I feel like I got away with one, so I probably won't be back. It was fun though. NOVA sucks when it comes to finding somewhere to off-road nearby.

Look up "Red Cloud Off Road" It is in Woodbridge VA.

I just googled it though to provide a link and the map said something like "permanently closed" so I don't know if it is still available. I've never been but was working on trying to get a few buddies to go.

I am in MD between DC and Baltimore and was looking for legal places myself to 4wheel.

So far I have gone twice to Rausch Creek Off-Road park in Tremont PA (140 miles N from me) about 2 hours 15 minutes each way if done the same day.

Off-Road Consulting does training classes there too. Which I would recommend too! I just did some stuff this past Sunday in my daily-driver 4Runner that I never would have thought I could have done without modding to a 3" suspension lift and 35" tires. Stuff like 45 degree climbs up narrow, deep washouts with ruts the width of tractor tires, sand, mud and rocks all over it.

VA also has the George Washington National Park toward the west closer to the mountains. That supposedly has lots of fire-roads and mountain trails to ride on.

But true, around NOVA, DC, Baltimore there isn't any legal offroading one can do during their lunch break like the folks in Mountain and Western US.

Just got boss kit installed with light racing UCA., and LED's. The rear is almost 3 inches, there telling me it will settle. Is that true?

Thanks for the info, I've heard of all of those but haven't checked any out yet. GW National Forest is next on my list, I'd like to try Flag Pole Knob and do some camping up there soon. I also want to try Assateague Island, I've been but want to go back and camp on the beach.

90% finished installing 2 10" light bars and a Smittybilt XRC 9.5 behind the bumper. It's pretty tight back there now.

Just waiting on the u bolts and she's good to go.

Yes it will settle a little. Although my fronts settled more so than rear but I don't carry much weight out back.
