I could probably do some rock climbing on this stuff.
Not really. Some of it is deep enough that my fingernails ride/catch in the grooves. Most could probably buff out.
There's also a dent in the back from when I forgot to add a counter tension strap on the carrier and a klr250 got loose during a left turn.
And some awful branch pokings on the rear. Someone must have borrowed my car and backed up too far turning around on a trail.
OK fine, I'll see if I can capture them on camera..
I have a post of mine some where. I did the overland trip in Oregon and made a wrong turn. Needless to say it looked like I took a metal rake and just let my kid rake the side of the 4runner.
I spent about 5 hours waxing buffing and got all but the few deeper ones. I will have to take it in because I can't physically do the work, or I would. Little bit of sand paper, or buffing machine would get them out for sure and mine are like yours, get my finger nail stopped in it.
But I would do the run again even if I got more pin stripping

I actually talked to him today to place an order and had a great experience. Got a tracking number and shipped same day. Will be calling him in the near future for future skid plate needs.
What? Doh my order must not be in stock then. But I went ahead and added the filler plate at the front.
I'm kinda a little excited.

Got it out of the body shop to repair the Damage from a minor rear end collision and went straight to the tire store and got 275/70/17 BFG KO2s installed. Plan on spraying the roof rails black today and getting the Bilsteins and SAW springs installed soon.

Drove to Michigan (yesterday) from Maryland, walked to the lake (Gun Lake) and ate some s'mores.
That's a good looking dog right there. My dog is not very photogenic.

Finally got some appropriate tires on my 4runner! I've been agonizing about tire size, fitment, rubbing, new rims... Arrrgh! I finally settled on the latest offering from BFGoodrich. These are the KO2's in 34/10.5R17 on stock SR5 rims with a Toytec Ultimate lift. ZERO RUBBING. I couldn't believe it myself, but here it is...
I'm beyond stoked at this point. Can't wait to get them on some dirt tomorrow.

Those are some fancy shoes you have there. No rub leaves me wondering - my stock size cooper's are rubbing. I might have a piece of plastic wandering out of its assigned area.
