At 10.5 inches wide, they are .1 inch wider than the stock 265/70R17 tires. I think that had a lot to do with the lack of rubbing. Definitely looks beefier than the 255/80R17 KM2 or ST Maxx.

Great choice. I have the vx-r green dot... Freaking love that optic. Glass is so clear.
When I lived in PA I could only get on a 100yd range. Out in OH I have a 1k shot but have to travel 90mins to get to it. Haven't gone yet but can't wait to see what it can do ~300-400m.
Between guns and the 4R I may need to get a second job.

Added black WeatherTech mats as well as their rain visors all around. Also took some shots of the leather heated seats I had the dealer out in when making my purchase.

Cut my rear bumper cover in preparation for a hybrid rear and front bumper project next week. Also finally washed my truck and made it look shiny again. Actually surprised that my paint is still in pretty good shape. This truck has been beaten on pretty good, luckily most of the damage was just the bumper covers.

After 10 days and 3300 miles in a 2014 Explorer that was rattling itself apart (only 17k on odometer at end of trip), it felt wonderful to be back in a real truck again!
Admittedly the lower CoG and wider stance of the Explorer was better suited to the mountain switchbacks and winding roads, although I would have liked to see how well the 4Runner handled such a challenge. There's not exactly that sort of terrain north of I-40 in Oklahoma!

Finally got some appropriate tires on my 4runner! I've been agonizing about tire size, fitment, rubbing, new rims... Arrrgh! I finally settled on the latest offering from BFGoodrich. These are the KO2's in 34/10.5R17 on stock SR5 rims with a Toytec Ultimate lift. ZERO RUBBING. I couldn't believe it myself, but here it is...
I'm beyond stoked at this point. Can't wait to get them on some dirt tomorrow.
