I did a brake test, working very well. Some dude who was tapping on his cellphone came into my lane, fortunately no one was behind me and I saw it unfolding and could react. I was in a turn lane and he decided he needed to turn last minute.

On the one hand I was ticked he was texting or whatever, on the other he had the decency to actually roll his window down to apologize, I gave a half polite wave back and drove on when the light changed.

Project Healing Waters Veterans Fishing Trip

I hitched up the drift boat at 05:00 and heading to the coast for our annual Project Healing Waters tidewater fishing trip for local veterans. Each year I get a group of my friends to donate their time and rowing skills to host a group of vets for a day of Searun Cutthroat fishing on the coast. This year I had a regular flotilla with 14 boats to host 26 vets. We had beautiful weather and even caught a few fish. The vets love this trip and it is becoming one of the most popular outings of the year for PHW. It's also becoming popular with my circle of friends/customers as I'm getting more boats to volunteer each year, which means we can take more vets fishing. Makes for a very long day, but well worth the effort.

I have only had my 4Runner for a week and I have plasti-dipped the emblems and the silver bumper parts (Trail Edition) and roof rails. I am researching lifts since that will likely be next up

There are alot of great rigs here, but this one just seems "right" in every way. Not to demean anyone else's truck, but this one just grabs me.

Finally got around to plasti-dip my front emblem...added a set of weathertech's front,rear and in the cargo area.

Put my token union sticker on the rear window and am taking it today to the shop to have the front windows tinted. Planning on putting my T4R stickers on later today. Went ahead and did the interior LED swap and WOW does it make a difference!!! Gotta love having weekdays off!!:thumb:
