For what it's worth. Got the Roof Rails powder coated, Installed Spidertrax, and had Spacer and Spring Lift from the boys at ToyTec. Its a fairly new configuration/package they came up with for the TRDP and Ultimate Edition FJ.

For what it's worth. Got the Roof Rails powder coated, Installed Spidertrax, and had Spacer and Spring Lift from the boys at ToyTec. Its a fairly new configuration/package they came up with for the TRDP and Ultimate Edition FJ.

There are a ton of NASCAR and racing in general businesses around here, called a few shops and Race City Powder Coating in Mooresville NC did an absolutely perfect job. I did in in Black Textured and it matches the rest of the rack to the tee.

Man, that is a sweet deal to! I was quoted for the same exact black textured powder coating here in VA to be between $200-$300. Did the powder coating affect the ability for the cross bars to slide as they are intended to do or how did they attend to that? Thanks for the feedback here, the color of these rails drives me nuts every time I see my rig.

Everything works the same, no issues at all with the cross bars. Send yours to me and I'll get em done for you. I actually bought these rails from [MENTION=82736]mcwalke2[/MENTION] (Who has a Bad Ass Runner) and had them done. Just keeping the originals around in case I ever sell and someone want original rails. :cheers:

I might have to go check them out. Mooresville is about 45 mins from my house and I've got some leave I'm taking when my daughter is born. Just looking to have them do the wind deflector from my gobi rack.

Installed the TRD front grill and Plasti Dipped bumper cover. Now I have to screw it up by installing the front license plate. Yet another reason to love California. (Yes, that is sarcasm).

I've seen some zip tie the plate to the grill. Probably not quite legal but not enough to get you pulled over for it.
