Thanks for the tip! We'll be doing a fair bit of traveling with holidays closing in, so I'll be sure to try this soon.
He's a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Not to be confused with the Queen's corgis... the Pembroke.
Harvey is miss marked, meaning he doesn't have a full color mask as he should, so he's not technically show-able in the ring, but he's full blooded corgi.
Which is partially why I went with Harvey as his name (Harvey Dent: aka "Two Face").
That is a good looking blue!We bought a second one, a 2016 Limited 4wd in Nautical Blue with Redwood leather. The old lady wanted her own after confiscating mine for the summer and I wasn't willing to give mine up. I really wanted a TRD Pro and then let her keep the SR5 Premium but she insisted on a Limited and she deserves it so she got her model and color of choice. We plan to use hers for highway travel and going to dinner, church, etc. and the SR5 Premium for the ranch, doggie mobile, and the transport for all of my outdoor activities.
I found it kind of funny that we ended up with two 4Runners but we considered about 10 other vehicles and always came back to another 4Runner. I guess we are living proof of the philosophy "Two is one, and one is none." I've gotta admit that it's nice to drive a non-lifted vehicle for the first time in years, so much more comfortable and predictable in its handling manners.
My wife has a completely stock '14 TEP, and mine rides better(softer) with the lift. But my brother's '12 Limited was softer than both of our trails - until he blew a xreas line and ended up installing my old shocks, that is...
Wow. It costs less to have dealer DO the oil change around here!
$73 from my dealer pre tax... Ouch!

Picked up my new boy, Harvey.
Riding in the crate stressed him out. We'll need to work on that.
I also recommend that when it comes time to give him any goodies, like treats and new toys etc that you give them to him in the crate. I also use repetition each time, telling my boy to "Kennel Up". He used to have issues with the crate, now even if we leave the door open and he can be out, he goes in there to sleep. I used the same theory for the treadmill and now both my pups can walk/run on it with no leashes and actually stay on it which is awesome when it's freezing outside. Good luck!
Lifted the 4Runner:
All kidding aside it's getting the air compressor, bigger battery, rear bumper lights, differential breather, and backup camera relocated.
Also ordered the RCI TRD Pro filler plate for some added protection. Word is the Bushwacker fender flares are released into the wild today. So I'll install those too.
Hey- got a good shop recommendation in PDX? Recently picked up a 2014 TEP and have some plans. Thanks!

Glad to see there's lots of dog people here. I much prefer them over just plain "people.."
BTW, when I was a young kid, we had Corgis, but Pembrokes. Makes sense I guess, my Mum and I were born in Pembrokeshire, now Dyfed, since the Welsh are reclaiming their Nationalist Spirit.

Agreed! I have been a dog person for as long as I can remember. I currently have two Mini Bull Terriers and had just put down my 172lb blue Dane about three weeks ago after 10 1/2 years. I had 3 Pits, a rotty and a New Newfoundland over the years that were actually my dogs....not including my childhood pets.

Well, not really a modification, but I dropped off my T4R for the 5,000 mile service. I've had it just over 5 weeks, and don't even have plates yet. I took it to the Sierras over the weekend and did some offroading to hike to the summit of White Mountain. The truck handled beautifully over the loose rock terrain. Loving it so far!

Took the time for a meticulous hand wash today. I ran out of energy and daylight before getting to the wax so that's on the agenda for tomorrow.
