This weekend I hauled some lumber home from the local lumber yard. I'm remodeling our 1913 Craftsman Carriage House. I needed some sistered studs and blocking to flush out the old rough framing before I add plywood sheathing to the ceiling and walls.
I didn't want the Toyota roof rack cross rails because I plan to change the rack to a Gobi or Baja Rack. In the mean time I use a couple of boards across the side rails and tie it down real well.
Will be hauling plywood next, maybe 6 sheets at a time. I'll only bring home what I need for the ceiling or one wall at a time because I don't have anywhere to store it except right in the middle of the Carriage House.hoto:
Check out and add to the remodel thread in off topic. Would love to see the old carriage house!
