Went Snow Wheeling

Took a co-worker snow wheeling and got stuck while trying to get his truck un-stuck. Good times digging each other out. Also found out that snow chains can be put on the front of the runner which means that I have to buy another pair.

Most of the road consisted of snowpack almost touching the skids and diffs. I personally don't think we would have made it to the top if it weren't for the chains. The second pic is a crappy screenshot of the runner stuck in a rut that took us 2 hours to get out of.

Loves me some NRG. You go all the way down and cross the old bridge? I get a kick out of that for some reason. Next time you're down there, there is a sweet abandoned road that runs off of 16 and cuts over to Gauley Bridge, 15 miles of appropriately gnarly action. CR 13... shows on the map as what looks like a shortcut between Fayetteville and Gauley

There's so much awesome off road stuff in WV....

Oh man, wish I knew about this. We took 60 through Gauley Bridge and then 16 up to Fayetteville, so this would have been a nice detour, but I'm not really seeing it on google. Yeah we went to the bottom, road would have been really fun if it was dirt, but we had a good time.

Had the chance to finally install my ANTI-DARK lights. Waited until night time to snap a few shots. Super easy to install and look great!!! I was a little afraid to do it in such cold weather, but I trust the 3M adhesive. We will see!!!

Took a three day trip to Anza Borrego, my first time, amazing place and 85 during the day in late November isn't too bad. Had plenty of chances to test the RCI steel skids, they held up great. Been adding lots of weight with skids, sliders, RTT, gear , etc. time to crank up the lift another inch !

Definitely could have used two sets to get out. I probably wouldn't have been in that situation if it weren't for my overconfidence in the 4Runners capabilities but probably my own ignorance (showing up the Nissan Frontier)...needless to say that the road condition was pretty shitty and on our way down, we noticed that there were a few places that others decided to turnaround.
