Why the switch?
I'm kinda torn between the K9 and the Gobi but I'm leaning towards the K9. What was your reasons for switching? What were your pros and cons?
Replaced K9 rack with Gobi.

Removed the TRDPro garnish. Quite easy but just gotta be careful and patient, which both I lack.

Anyway, if anybody here wants to remove their garnish(to sell or whatever) I'd recommend a lot of Goo-Gone, 50lb monofilament, a long thin flathead, Heat gun/dryer. I used a HF dremel to cut some tabs to help peel the plastic support off one section at a time.

It looks like it sticks out more in that picture. Here's another, it lines up with the roof line and doesn't hang over at all.
I'm not convinced. We need a bunch more pictures.

Did you use some water/hair dryer to get the film to follow the fogs curves?

Yes a little Spray bottle with a fine mist with just 3 drops of dish soap and water and then a hair dryer. Much easier then I thought it was going to be.
