If you would like to keep that tire, have them order a new set and start fresh. That is what they offered me when I was in your shoes.

Went to Discount at lunch and they re balanced the tires for the 3rd time.(this time I took it to a different Discount location). once they gave the car back to me I ran it down the highway varying the speed between 55-80. Pretty darn smooth and couldn't get it to produce any shimmy. Then I made my way over to the 55mph road that I had substantial shimmy on just this morning crusing at just over 60mph. on that road I held the car just over 60mph again and could only get it to produce the slightest bit of shimmy in one section. It seems good enough to me and hopefully it stays this way. As for tires I wouldn't want to go with these tires again and after doing my lift I am looking at my next set of tires to be 285s.

guess I should also mention the current set of wheels I have are Cooper AT3s 265/70-17r that I put on the car at about 1000 miles and now only have roughly 10k miles on them.

2016 Trek Stache 7 29+. Amazing bike and the 3" tires go through the slop and rock very well. Need to cut the bars a bit and it will be just fine.

Went out to Corolla 4x4 Beach for the first time and explored. I didn't realize all of the roads out here were all the beach houses are were all sand.

We got the same set up, you got a lift on your t4r? Or whats your plans on lift if you dont have ?

Super easy. Pop the hood, remove the plastic tabs and one metal screw. Unscrew the bolts on the bottom and wheel well area. Unplug the fogs. Start pulling on one side of the wheel well. There is that top notch on the wheel well that helps keep the bumper in place. Once you pull the bumper off that notch the whole thing will come off with ease. Just have both hands ready or have another set to assist cause it might off fall off if you're not careful.


As for the garnish I got it used for $450 shipped, including the front valance. Not a bad deal.

Dang! I'll have to keep my eyes pealed for one to popup!

On topic: I'm sitting home waiting for my CBI bumper to be delivered (no swing out). Started my Christmas vacation early and drinking a Guinness...

This bike comes in lot's of colors as long as it's purple. You should be looking at things like the offset chain stays or the curved seat post tube and wondering why did they do that. Maybe at the 1X11 drivetrain or at the gusseted top tube. How about the milled flat pedals? Beauty is more than skin deep lol.

I wired up my light bar. Thanks to all the post on here I was able to figure it out. Otherwise I would not have had a clue how to do it. I ran the power wire to the light per [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION] up the right side of the windshield. The wire I used was red and it was too thin to stay in the gap so I covered it in heat shrink and it fit great. I used liquid tape on the ground connection to the roof rack. The light is really bright. It was really more than I was expecting.

Looks good! So it wasn't too difficult? I am about to get a roof rack/ladder (leaning toward Gobi) and have been curious how big a job it is to wire a light bar. Any trouble getting the weatherstripping back down? Anything other surprises? TIA
