Nice choice! I just recently got my wife into shooting. I asked her what handgun she wanted (expecting to hear something like a Glock or XD)- ended up with a Colt Commander in .38. I just finished converting it to 9MM with a match barrel

I just ordered a whole bunch of parts for my 2016 TEP that I don't even have yet. I wont get the car until the first week of February. But that aint going to stop me from buying stuff for it...
Parts that I ordered today:
-AVS Bug Deflector
-Husky WeatherBeater Floor liners (front and rear)
-Toyota Sliding Cargo Tray Cover
-CoverCraft Windshield Cover
-Toyota Hitch Cover
-(2) Dual USB outlets (for 2nd row and cargo area)
Now I just need the car to put this stuff in...:bluejump:

Clearanced my RCI gas tank skid so the pinion collar and drive shaft don't rub when the driver wheel is stuffed. [MENTION=106176]wfo9[/MENTION] already had this figured out so we duplicated his bracket last night. He finished it up this AM.
Used the combination of a cutting wheel and sawzall with a metal blade to do the cutting. Had to drill two holes as well for the bracket to attach. Pretty easy. Primer and paint going on now then I'll be all set for our weekend club bon fire run.

Bracket clamped in to check the cuts and make sure they're good:

I'm 99% sure you are planning this [MENTION=809]fattire[/MENTION].. but just to verify carriage bolts will go the other way when actually mounted on the truck. Getting the little squares filed out is always a fun little game.....

Domello's in Riverside, CA
Today I drove out to Domello Off Road to pick up my 2015 T4R TE bolt-on Hybrid rock sliders, made to fit with KDSS. They now make them for the 2015/2016 to fit KDSS and the struts out from the frame have been modified from what's shown on the website.
2010-2014 BOLT ON 4RUNNER HYBRID SLIDERS, Demello Offroad
I bought them bare metal and saved $85. Picking them up 45 minutes from home probably saved me another $120 on freight shipping.
Jason Domello started building rock sliders about a dozen years ago or so (I forget when) and now employs about 8 people. I met with Daniel and Tiffany who were both very helpful and fin to deal with, both over the phone and in person. I spent some time talking to them about the ICON shocks I want to get and found out they do installation as well. They had some good tips on saving money on the new suspension, like buying the ICON parts through them for the same price and getting a break on the installation.
Here are some photos at Domello. The bumper on the right is for a 4Runner. That's Daniel. Also, two of the welders working on parts. Some aluminum welding with MIG. He said he'd rather weld aluminum with a stick. They hope to develop an aluminum front bumper. And finally, the rock sliders in my truck going home. Notice my back seats are still out.

Yes, shipping a 100 pound set of sliders is expensive. I chose the Domello rock sliders in part because I could drive out to pick them up in under an hour. But once I looked at the construction and relative strength of all the others I was convinced that Domello had the best sliders. If you don't have the option of driving to your favorite local fabricator, or building them for yourself, then Domello is a good option. The shipping costs will be similar no matter who you buy from.
The front bumper is tempting, but at 100 pounds plus the weight of the winch, I'll be waiting until after I upgrade the front suspension. I'd like to see a bumper built lighter from aluminum.
The sliders are hanging in my garage, ready for painting. I'll post more photos of these stout sliders before I start to paint them. I weighed them. About 50 pounds per side, which is about typical for all sliders.
