Looking good, trying my best to resist going to these with some more offset, because damn are SCS' wheels nice.

The Magnaflow exhaust I want unfortunately exits the rear also
do you think they'd be able to reroute the stock one for me for now AND the Magnaflow once I get it? If not, I better start looking around for a different one that exits out the side. I hadn't even thought of that. :dammit:

I could likely do -10 offsets and not gravely impact my turning radius, I just don't want to run spacers out of personal experience. Like my truck next to @RiDE's rig you can tell his has a better stance, but I just don't want to screw with spacers.
I posted those photos from the mud pit a few weeks back, and I actually drove around in it longer, but the sides of his truck were just thrashed with mud, but mine were pretty spotless due to the tires not poking out past the flares. So I'd like to even them out, but not exceed the width.

I still have the spacers. Yea, you could ditch the spacers if you want and just go with the -10 offset they come with. Because theyre 1.5" wider, they'll still stick out further than the stock trd wheels but not so much that it gets your sides all muddy. my buddy [MENTION=128019]Vooty[/MENTION] had the stealth 6s with no spacers for a while and his kept his sides nice and clean.

I get the appeal of the look of heavier offset, I wouldn't mind getting a bit better stance while still not shotgunning my doors with mud/rocks.
I guess I'm only holding on to the TRD rims because it's really the last legit thing from the actual TRD Pro. /nostalgia
not sure why its perceived that it looks better - it don't to me; yours looks fine. looks rookyish, sheepish, etc. one of this I have to do it cause everyone does it sort of things...

Okay let me rephrase, and I don't want it to be taken as me disliking Ride's setup, that's not the case.
I'm saying it has a wider and more aggressive stance. Mine sits taller with my lift, I just don't want to 1. deal with spacers 2. give up turning radius since I live downtown and both parking and dealing with smaller streets is key.
So wider, not necessarily better.

If I did want a wider stance I'd do larger offset wheels, but the TRD rims are surprisingly stout and well made. At the expense of weight mind you.

Sick man! I was looking to add some color to mine as well and chatted with Vin about doing some of those stickers. I'm taking my wheels in to be powder coated soon so I have time to think about what color to go with. That blue matches the spacer pretty damn cleanly.

while i'm not familiar with the aftermarket exhaust options for these i would say that is doable.
if you are just doing the mangaflow muffler then your stock piping will still be used anyway. if you are doing a cat-back type magnaflow system the new pipe could be either mandrel bent or removed and replaced with a pre-bent 90 and the magnaflow tip could still be used for the side exit.

I work in Los Angeles so I know about small streets. With the amount of driving I do, the spacers actually make the car more stable with the wider stance. So not only does the kdss help, but the spacers do too.
I didn't buy them for the function aspect of it but it was def an added bonus.
At the end of the day, to each his own. Some people love spacers and some people hate it. I've already had discussions with [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION] about them when I first got my 4runner haha

My 4Runner (Bismarck) maybe doesn't look much but it's a killer. Literally.
Not long time ago it destroyed beautiful bird, and last night it hit some small animal (I'm not sure if it was a cat, small dog or something else).
Bad, bad, very bad Bismarck.
I got both encounters recorded by dash camera, and reviewing the video frame by frame I noticed I had 0.1 sec to see the bird, and 0.2sec to see the cat (or dog or whatever it was). No chance to react whatsoever.

Thank you. Yes it's stock suspension for now. I'll probably consider a lift later on.
