Dropped the runner off at the race shop to have the guys install a few bits. I was lacking confidence in the installers I interviewed then remembered some old racing buddies that ran Baja back in the day...they now run rally cars. They should be able to figure this stuff out.
Rig was feeling a little mushy with all the gear I load into in. Hopefully this will solve the problem. We shall see...

This photo below is from yesterday when I came upon an Xterra well and truly stuck up to it's elbows. Seems he thought driving over this piece of wood would be cool. The wood took offense and firmly grabbed his front skid plate. By the time he quit spinning the wheels the rear bumper was laying on the sand. I calmly directed his efforts using my TREDs and shovel and had him on his way before the tide got him. I felt that he had suffered enough embarrassment and post here just a photo of the aftermath. When his son tells mom the story I'm sure he will never hear the end of it. I was going to pull the TREDs off the roof for summer, but think I'll leave them. I've used them twice to rescue others.
