Nice! nothing more fun than the salmon fly hatch on the Deschutes. i'm floating Warm Springs to Trout Creek twice next week

Made first trip to Moab this weekend, had fun smashing through some mud/puddles between various hiking/biking destinations.. camped with some friends and friends of friends who, as it turned out, all drove 4runners as well - I knew they were decent people. Truck is now incredibly dirty inside and out which feels right.

On the trip home set cruise control at ~100mph for a bit through eastern Utah which was also fun - vehicle doesn't feel/sound like it might begin to disintegrate like my old Tacoma did at that speed.

Received and test fitted the Smog Pump/ARB Compressor mounting bracket from [MENTION=96749]enginerd4ni[/MENTION] in preparation on dual battery installation.

This is a substantial bracket! Thanks enginerd4ni for the chance to install it.

Spent Sunday morning doing my spring detailing inside and out. Wash, Clay bar, wax, tires, wheels, vacuum, windows, the whole enchilada. Then on Monday I decided to see how the Salmonfly hatch was progressing on the Deschutes...which meant it got a little dusty.

Good time to check for rattles and squeeks in the new cooler/stove/sleeping set up and test the new Icon suspension. 88 degrees and a beautiful sunny day.

The bugs are hatching pretty well around Maupin and I even managed to fool a few fish. These are Golden Stones...

The river looks beautiful right now with everything greened up for spring. Soon it will be a million shades of brown.

Fishing is always great, some days are just better. The fish are starting to look up for the big bugs. Should be good by the weekend. I'm heading to the McKenzie to drift with Jeff Helfrich in the morning. Maybe back to the Deschute next Monday. Love fishing big flies for trout.

Made a plug and play piggyback harness to tap a audio control LC2i RCA line converter in line without the need to hack the stock harness or replace it with after market unit for sub and mid/high amplifiers. Works great in my 2016 t4r w/navigation

Finally put it back together. Runner makes a great haul machine and trackside hangout.

Stage One I guess. Icon Overland Rear Springs , Rear Shocks, Rear Track Bar, Front Shocks and Springs.... maybe Stage 1.5.

Tires are 265 70 17 BFGs. Pulled off the tires at 100 miles and replaced with the BFGs. Lift wasn't planned until I started loading up the back end so I went with the stock size. Needed to do something now as the runner was getting a little mushy with all the gear. I will look at a larger tire in 25,000 miles or so.

Jealous... My 05' has been sitting in the garage collecting dust since ~ 2013. It just needs a carb rebuild and new gas lines but i haven't had the time to do it.
