Installed the Garnish/Grill. Tried to install the Tundra TRD Shift Lever...after about 6 rotations the threaded insert let loose from the inside. Now I have an $80 paperweight.

Epoxy sounds reasonable...I hesitate opening up the shifter not knowing how its held together. Before I attempt anything, I'm calling toyotapartsonline on monday to see about an exchange.

Meanwhile...Installed the TRD CAI. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but seat of the pants tells me a bit more pop low in the RPM range. I noticed a slight whine/whistle...only when windows are down and driving next to something like wall.

Installed both the BriGuyDIY rear camera override and the Prestigious Society Nav override. Now can view the rear camera anytime and also press - - + + on the steering wheel volume to turn off/on the navigation nanny.

You can use any switch for the rear camera override, I used this one: 12 Volt 3amp ON-OFF Toyota OEM Replacement Push Switch with LED blue lights -Air On Board

It's not exactly cheap--$263 for the entire project. There are ways to do all this on your own if you are willing to cut, solder, etc. But I wanted plug and play and reversibility.

Mounted a Viair 400P in the engine bay behind the air box. Figured this empty space is better than taking up 1 cubic foot of precious cargo space.

The lower box had three holes for bolts, and I saw 1 hole on the side closest to the front bumper (used a plastic plug). My parts bag came with only one plastic plug. Off the top of your head, do you know where the "2nd" hole is located?

If you can stomach the price, you should look into the Streamlight SL-20X LED. It will make you want to throw rocks at that Maglite. Similar footprint too.
