If you can swim you can do it, and as it sounds like you mountain bike it's the same rush as a good downhill, with the flat water between the rapids being like your climbs.

I love Palm Springs! Every time I'm out in LA or San Diego, I will usually take a weekend and go over to Palm Springs. I like driving around in the desert around there and having brunch and a big margarita at Las Casuelas Terraza.

After some hard wheeling, I need to bent back the transmission skid plates. Any ideas ?
Find a local metal shop. They have the machines that can do what you need. I had a like problem on my Jeep's plate and they bent it back for free.

Rear liftgate window...
I have a question,
Will the rear liftgate window not function if the rear wiper motor is not in place? The wiper arm got bent by previous owner so I removed the motor assembly due to the arm being seized onto it. Easier to work on removing the arm with the motor on the bench. The issue is the rear liftgate window does not work now. I plugged it back in and tried the window, did not go down by switch or key. Unplugged the motor, still does not work. Next morning tried the console switch while waiting for kids bus, the window worked once down then up then nothing. Don't feel like buying a $140 motor and a $50 arm. I can do without a rear wiper but would like the window to work.

Guess I'm in a rut...
Headed back to the Deschutes to check on the Salmonfly hatch again. Cooler temps this week, but plenty of action including this hook-jawed resident wild Redside. Quick photo and released back to eat more big bugs.
Didn't bother to wash the runner, it's just going to get dirty again next week.
Love tossing dry flies that are 2 inches long. I can see them....
