As with everything I do, nearly an hour and a half for initial installation. Probably take 15-20 minutes next time. Now to test....

Did you dip your flairs? Do you know if they can be unbolted?

I dipped my flairs a week ago. I'm going go use real paint in the upcoming weeks. They can't be unbolted. Part of the flair is lifted off of the car and the other part isn't.

All aluminum bare. Way to pretty to cover with paint.

Another little project got finished this evening: I upgraded the lift struts on the rear hatch. This will be needed when my Gobi rack and ladder gets here.

The new struts came from www.liftsupportsdepot.com, as described elsewhere on this forum. Removing the original struts and installing the new ones turned out to be incredibly easy.

Went to check on progress of my new home build and found my Bulldog LED light bar has some issues. All good though, got a life time warranty!





As soon as I have a garage again I will straighten out the wind deflector. I CANNOT WAIT TO HAVE A GARAGE AGAIN!!!!

Picked up my 4runner today!!!

Spent about two hours removing the original license plate screws to replace with stainless steel ones. Of course one twisted off. Ended up breaking two drill bits and a screw extractor before I decided to pull the paneling off the liftgate. Ended up just dremeling the nut off the back and installing a new nut with the ss screw. What an ordeal...:gun5:
