Will do. So far it's pretty awesome. First hitch rack I've ever had and it's a lot nicer putting the bikes on there than (I imagine) putting them on the roof.

Here's the bulk of the initial impressions I threw on the other thread:

The SplitRail is insanely well built. It looks like it could carry far more weight than they rate it at (not that there are a lot of 60+ lb. bikes). The assembly was really easy and the integrated cable locks are handy (though I'd still loop a thicker cable through everything if I was going to leave it for any amount of time). Bikes mount securely.

Their anti-wobble thing is really nice and works really well. That's one of my main complaints about hitch bike racks (the slop in the hitch that results in a wobbly rack).

Lastly, it looks really nice which is important when it's on your truck.

RockyMounts is also right up the highway from me in Boulder, so things arrive really quickly even with Ground shipping.

If you have any questions about it, I'd be happy to try to answer them and I can report back after using it for the first time. Overall, two thumbs up from me.

It's kind of spendy at normal price, but RockyMounts runs sales pretty frequently. I got mine for a steal because I'd ordered a pair of roof rack bike holders that we perpetually back-ordered... so they let me use my discount code on anything (the code was only good for red, white or blue roof bike holders initially). I wasn't sold on lifting a bike onto the roof of the 4R anyway, so I guess it was meant to be.

Not an adventurous event and this happened a couple weeks ago but I took advantage of the 4Runner's interior capacity just days after receiving it! Loaded it up with rain barrels.

Reinstalled my ARB CKMA12 Compressor

I decided to clean up my install on the compressor. I originally rough cut the adapter plate for a dry fit, but it was installed at that point and we were going on a trip. I've been using it for the past 6 months, but decided to update some pictures since I trimmed the adapter plate and cleaned everything up. I added some rubber washers to the backside to dampen the vibration a bit more. Full write-up in my build thread.

Just ordered my Toytec Boss lift! I got duped by 4 wheel parts 6 months ago to go with just a front leveling kit. From the moment I got it back I wasn't happy with it. Finally getting the lift I should of bought. Thank you everyone. Your posts on here made it very easy to know which one I wanted to go with.

How difficult was it to dip the front bumper trim? Did you tape off the surrounding area and spray, or did you remove the trim piece first?

Came home to my Borla exhaust waiting for me at my door:banana: Is it possible to uninstall stock piping without a lift/jack stands? I'm really not trying to pay someone install something that I have the ability to do. Just need some confirmation before I tackle it tomorrow morning.

It wasn't difficult, just more-so time consuming because of the prep work. First I had to remove the plate/holder and clean the area. Then I taped the surrounding grill with 3M painters tape, covered the grill/front hood with newspaper and cardboard - same with the side trim. Sprayed about five/six coats and peeled it all off carefully.

It's not difficult, just time-consuming so dedicate a few hours of your day so you're not rushed!
