1.25 in wheel spacers, painted stock trail wheels with duplicolor truck bed liner, and heat gun molded wheel wells to stop rubbing... or at least my buddy did most of this for me while I was there for moral support.

Came home to my Borla exhaust waiting for me at my door:banana: Is it possible to uninstall stock piping without a lift/jack stands? I'm really not trying to pay someone install something that I have the ability to do. Just need some confirmation before I tackle it tomorrow morning.

No, you need the additional height in order to make the bend over the rear axle. I used ramps that raised the truck about 8" in order to get enough room.

Surprisingly, I was able to remove the stock exhaust just by lowering the spare tire and removing the heat shield. Didn't have to use ramps or anything, & was able to wiggle it out. Only issue though was that the stock hanger was too short, the tip was resting on the bumper. I swapped out the hanger and it fits perfectly.

I was able to do it by backing up on a curb on my Tacoma double cab long bed, took me an extra two hours trying to negotiate the damn thing over the axle. Lifting it higher would be soooooo much easier and faster n less of a headache. Keep in mind the Tacoma exhaust is side exit not straight back

What hanger did you replace it with? I have been constantly adjusting it and it still rubs when hot.

Went browsing around the local auto parts store. Found a 90 degree exhaust pipe for $7 and a $3 clamp and decided that was much cheaper than the Magnaflow system I have been wanting.
Sorry for the sideways pics. I am not sure why it loads them that way.

I like this option. Any better pics from the side. Did you end up not using the last hanger? I'd like to go this route. Any part numbers?

Picked up my 2016 T4R Limited 4*4 today! First things first, went to tire store and swapped out the road tires for 275/55/20 Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2s. They look so much better.
