That's a crazy mod. I don't think I can handle 3!
Gave it a much needed wash then decided it had been to long since I got some real dirt on the tires. Dad bought 80 acres for a new hunting ranch a few weeks ago so I took the opportunity to do some exploring this afternoon.
I know that Oklahoma Red Dirt! That's my home state. Lived in Norman for a few years, but down south in Texoma Land is where my acreage is...hope to get back this fall.
I dig the look of your 4R. Rack and ladder and flares. I'm thinking about doing my flares. What method did you go with?
Went behind the levee and found us a new beach spot and a couple trails. Let my girlfriend drive and she didn't want to give the wheel up!

Love the rig!
Only in LA do you have an oil tanker at your beach![]()
Nothing like red dirt, it gets everywhere! I just used plasti dip for the flares 4-5 coats. I outlined it a little more in detail in my build thread. It's been about 1.5 years and it's held up pretty well. Have some chips and peeling in a few spots and they are starting to fade a bit. Trying to decide to spray a fresh coat over them or peel it off and run with it white again for a while. Was about to peel it over yesterday when washing it, but once it's cleaned up and covered in ArmorAll it still looks pretty dang good.
Did a bit of exploring:

Mrs didn't care for this portion and thought she wanted to walk:

Then she saw this truck off the edge and decided she definitely was walking:![]()

All in all fun day and a good excuse to go for a drive.
