My wife needed a car before next week, after searching for a couple days I found this clean AZ owned 2002 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 2wd with 196kmiles and a clean carfax. I negotiated well and was able to purchase it on my Amex card for $6k out the door. They wanted $7500-otd so I think I got a killer deal. Tires and battery are new. Door locks need a look over. The interior is nearly perfect. I love it. I remember when these came out in 2002 and I thought they were the best thing out at the time. Let me know what you think!

I keep a small bag of hand tools where the jack is and the cover constantly pops off when weight shifts. Post pics if you go with hinges I'd love to know if it works. Like the extinguisher [emoji106]

It's been a couple of months with the extinguisher mounted on the jack panel. I screwed in a hinge on the panel shortly after mounting the extinguisher and used Velcro to keep it shut but that wasn't holding up too well. So screwed in a couple of chest latches to lock things down. It ain't the prettiest solution but fits my needs and it ain't going anywhere.

Put in my optima battery, but can someone tell me what this wire is under my dash.

Looks like the brake controller "pig tail" that is between the trucks controller plug and the controller.

Did you buy used? If so the PO probably had a controller mounted where you found that plug.

Nice! Do you have a build thread or a write-up showing more of these drawers? I'm interested in the stain job done, it looks really nice and smooth to touch. I'm also interested how you have those mounted inside the trunk.

Getting ready to go Caribou hunting next Friday so I am test fitting gear and making a swing out hitch mounted bumper for my gas cans and HI-Lift jack. I still have another nights worth of work on the bumper I believe.

BFG atko2 275/70/18

Installed new tires today. Kinda a off size and couldn't find much on a 4r. They are taller than 285s, and a hair narrower. On BFD 9 inch wide rims. I love the way the drive and look. Standing next to my old worn out atko 285s they were 2 inches taller.

20% tint on the front windows to match the rest, visor tint, new windshield. Looks great, but it is storming right now so can't take decent pics. Also priced a new head unit and sub. Pretty sure we are going in on a Pioneer 7" Nav system with wheel controls unit added to keep all the wheel features, a plug in system that has OBDI and related in it (shows tire pressure as well on the screen, which is nice), and an 8" sub under the seat. $2,200 and change plus tax, but sure looks nice.

Used the built in inverter today. Doing wiring work in driveway and my 50 foot cord was too short from the garage.
