I just used a 6 x1/2" grade 8 bolt with a nylon washer in between. I haven't done a write up on it didn't know if there would be interest.

I like it because it can be removed so when you don't need/use it, it can be stored in garage. Especially important of your 4R is your dd

Installed under the hood splash proof accessory fuse box. It holds up to 4 30A fuses with total capacity 100A. Really I need it only for behind the grill light bar, but I may come up with some use in the future (maybe hood lighting). The hole write-up is here.

Got my parent's Highlander unstuck! We rolled into vaca spot after 14 hrs in the car and lots of traffic... All at our wits end. He didn't notice the drop-off/end of the concrete. Bam! Right off the end. Tried a few times to get it up, and just spun/dug a hole. I've never been more disappointed in myself for not having ordered a recovery strap and D-ring a few months ago when I was looking!! So we high-tailed it to Wally-world to use whatever we could find. Found a strap that would suffice for this one-time... Got some rest, got up, drank some beach-view coffee, stacked a few pieces of fire wood to step-up out of the sand to the ledge... Hooked her up to the Runner pulled it out gently in just a few seconds.

...then left a few pieces of wood down for make-shift chalks/stops while we're here.

Checked the throttle body to see if it needed cleaning:

Some smudge there, but not enough to warrant a cleaning just yet. I'll wait until I hit 100,000 then clean it thoroughly (at a bit over 63k now). But I tell you, this is the first all black vehicle I have owned, and man does it get hot. It is going to force that I build my covered drive for my auto work :clap2: :clap2: arty:

Check the differences between the hood temps, taken seconds apart, of my purple/blue Tacoma and the Attitude Black Runner:

A few minutes prior the hood indicated 178 F. :target: I had to put on work gloves to get the air hosing back together.

Some friends and I camped up near Sedona, AZ on Friday night and woke up to meet with another at Broken Arrow Trail in Sedona. My stock Trail Premium with the TRD front skid plate did surprisingly well and held it's own next to a 2016 Wrangler Rubicon on 35's.
