What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Looked at it in the driveway and pondered about putting a leveling system in. Really don't like the rake, especially with the new 275 AT's I had installed.

Do it, you will not regret it!!!!!

About to take my wife to the hospital, in the 4Runner, to have our first kid.
The thing better not get it dirty, just washed the 4Runner....

Priorities, right?

Back from a long road trip to the Grand Tetons, Yellow Stone, Moab and Aspen. Had a couple items waiting for me and installed by Gobi tool box and RCI a-arm armor.

Can you provide some more specs on the Gobi tool box. more specifically how you mounted it to your loadwarrior basket.

congrats, don't worry those priorities will change real quick... 4Runner won't matter at all to what's going to come.

Called Demello and arranged to drop it off to remove and replace/rebuild a leaky six month old ICON coil over.

parts.com shipped me 5334135160 Hood Insulator today (should arrive next week). For the price $161.87 plus $19.42 shipping I couldn't resist. I had mounting clips clips already from ebay (paid $5.00 for 30 pcs) so the whole install should be less than 190 dollars.

Not that I need to keep the engine warm, but I wanted some "stock looking" base in there so I can mount LED under-hood lights to it.

I will start new building thread for it when I figure out how to do it "Toyota way" Stay tuned ...

P.S. How do you guys get page 1234? It shows this on my screen:

Picked up my Hefty Fabworks Sliders at FedEx. Hefty gets an A+ for the wrap and palletizing job. FedEx gets a C- to D+ for only having one LTL freight facility, on the other side of town, only keeping bankers hours and sending out a guy that's older than Arizona to help me load the pallet...rant off.

on to the better news...

Their forum settings are set to show less posts per page, thus resulting in more pages. Mine is the same as yours.

So I went to the dealership.

So yesterday, while nearing the end of a 2,000 + mile road trip, I called ahead to schedule my 5k service & an oil change at a dealership in the town we were spending the night. I thought that by doing this, I would be saving time, and a future trip out of town, as the closest Toyota dealership to me is over 2 hours away. After breakfast, and dropping my wife off at Barnes & Noble, I went to the dealership 20 minutes early for my 10:00 am scheduled appointment. I quickly checked the truck in at service and discussed the work to be done. I should have known better when I was asked multiple times if I had purchased the vehicle at this particular dealership (which I had not). While handing over the keys, I asked about changing particular settings on the truck, such as
eco-gauge, and seat belt warning, etc...I was told by the service writer, that it is against the law to make any changes to the truck this way. I laughed, but was not going to argue with him. I was told they would have me all taken care of in under an hour, which is also what I was told on the phone when scheduling the service, which was great considering how I was ready to be home after a long week of driving. Anyhow, 11:00 rolls around, and my truck is still waiting on the line, not even in the shop yet, as many other vehicles were taken after I arrived. I requested the keys, ready to get home, they acted as if I was inconveniencing them somehow, and told me they can get it on a lift and out the door in 10-15 minutes. No thank you. So much for trying to save a little time.
