Fabricated and installed a CB antenna mount.



Fabricated and installed mount for an ARB CKMTA12. Also mounted the compressor.

I had that LED battery terminal and hated it... it made jumping other cars a PITA. I don't mean to be a Debby downer.

As for everything else... looks good, you made the right choice for aftermarket dash kit

Finally bolted my RAM mount to the dash trim piece above the 4WD lever. Liking it a lot better than the suction cup mount on the windshield, feels really sturdy, going to test it off road this afternoon.

Sunday is a day of rest

Gave my runner the day off.

He already did some crazy off-road stunts yesterday as the wife tried out the TRD Pro suspension on some JBLM range roads.

She actually made a small jump in the runner which was great for my daughter and I. Wife almost crapped her pants. She's never jumped a car before.

Washer her up from a week trip in the San Juans. Beautiful area of Colorado and I will be making a trip back at some point. Didn't get to do as much trail exploring as I hoped but it was a family vacation and not everyone wants to spend all day in the 4runner bouncing around.

Hit some trails at Hollister Hills s.r.v.a. This was my first time there and my 4runner is stock SR5, stuck to the green trails. I did try out the obstacle course and scraped under my rear bumper leaving an obstacle. [emoji26] All in all cool place but I think you need some suspension upgrades to try most of there trails. The green trails were very easy. [emoji41]

Also went to Santa Cruz to support my Lil bro at the Ironman 70.3. Had a few people scoping the 4runner.... not in a good way though. People were peeking into my windows until I hit the panic button on them.

Went in for an oil change, saw that the dealer had not one, but two, new Land Cruisers on the lot. So I had to check them out...

Did the math in my head real quick and then I drove away in my freshly serviced truck, having made the sound, but boring decision.

Installed a $20 eBay underhood LED auto actuated light kit. Quite impressed thus far.

If this didnt come with the shock switch take a look at the one I used in my build. Works wonders and much better than a mercury switch. Also take note that normal 3m tape tends to let loose after some time under the hood due to heat. Helping secure any strip light with wilicone works wonders to help hold it in place.

Ended up buying the Toytec full kit with rear springs. Now to orrow have to call 4wheel parts to see if I can exchange my unmounted 275/70s for 285/70s when I drive down to the VA on Tuesday.

Thanks for the tip. The kit came with a plunger switch. For $20, had very low expectations but seems to work great.

Sorry. I couldn't wait until April Fools Day to post that. You're not the first person on this site who's made complaints over a tire shop scratching their rims. They're going to get scratched up eventually in my opinion whether it's a curb or a rock.

That's the least of my worries. All of my wheels are thrashed.
