I finished installing the 12v plug for the fridge. So,it is now hooked to its own switch that is powered by the ignition. May perhaps in the future when I add second battery to have an on option without the ignition and a low voltage cutoff. Perhaps also a 120v input too for camoing to control the batteries charge. But for now it is perfect that I can controll the use from the drivers seat instead of going to the back to just turn the dial. I Can set it at a temp and turn it on when I want to use it not when I dont. Wasnt too happy that my drill bit jumped a littl when drilling the hole, yuck. Not terrible though.
Afterwards, I went ahead and did a fulls strip down of everything inside and gave it a hugely needed cleaning, while I washed and waxed, and rewashed the outside since I am heading down to Atlanta VA tomorrow. The truck looks great the best it has in quite a while.
Since I am alreayd heading down to Atlanta I decided to load uo the BFG 275/70 on my roof rack and will hit 4 wheel parts on the way back from the doctor. It is a tight fit up there. Crossing my finger the net and paracord will hold it well. I am confident yet really shoukda used straps which I guess where stolen as I cannot find them.
Went through one of my bug out bags , got new extensions for the antenna to allow a harris foldable manpac antena on a baoefeng uv-5r with ext battery and a conduction mic. Neat little setup. Also got patches from violent machine in for the small kits in the bug gear, ie fire kit, weapons cleaning, first aid with blod type, water purification and also from patch panel some id panels made for my wives and I bug out gear. I will make a write up about it in the future as it is a veyr involved and well stocked kit. As well as my seperate medical backpack that I keep in there. The bad thing is though that two well stocked rucks, a jumpable medical backpack, an Engel fridge, and a case with a truck gun and kit pretty much take up the back of the vehicle behind the rear seats. I might go ahead and out back kn my thule cargo box and store some of it up there in the future. I think after I get a good run down of my gear and troubleshoot the last little bits of gear trying to keep weight down but have high quality gear for realworld situations and be confortable and the ability to have at a minimum 72h of gear on your back with the capability to ext it out if needed takes up room and space. This is beckming its own thread Ill talk about all this later. There really is some great surplus gear and other things out there that are great items without breaking the bank. A really good stocked kit is nort of $500-$1500 depending on needs and the gear used. I probably have $15-1600 in components when said and done for two without some specialized equipment. Giving me bkth 72 and 24 hr capability as well as being seperated capability. Again will be a good thread for another time. As I am off to bed and still have many threads I need to finish before I start that one!

Also purchased a set of orange led running lights for the front grill and some equipment for installs. As well as some of the metal Auto Metal Emblems to replace my fading Purple Heart, Combat Medical Badge, and one unit. They where out of 82AB and wish they had iraqi and afghani campaign ribbons. These things look so much better than stickers and much leas tacky.

Used something similar to this for My Ducati Hylermotard on my FJ. They work ridiculously well.

Greased the Total Chaos UCA bushings. The zerk fittings make it easy to do a job that's probably required every 5K miles. My bushings started to squeak after 5 months, 5000 miles and 3 offroading trips.
Used Super Lube synthetic grease. Also got a Gurtech grease coupler that makes coupling with zerk fittings a breeze.

They are not switchback leds so they will blink white. Since they were only $35 I thought it was a good way to see if I want to upgrade to the expensive vleds one day. Also, no splicing of wires. Direct plug and play and includes resistors.

I ordered a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's this afternoon in stock sizing... Really wish they came in 275 like the Cooper AT3, but oh well. I got a pretty good deal. Hopefully the slip/sliding of the old shoes will be a thing of the past next weekend!
