I'm a Ham! Took my amateur radio technician's exam and passed.

I guess its nothing I did to or in my 5th gen, but tomorrow I'm headed to HRO!

For me, taking practice exams over and over online helped the most. I started Monday with the study guide online, then practice exams last night, took the test tonight and passed no problem. I took it up in Louisville near Boulder...nice folks, easy process.

It's the Smuggler-Union Hydroelectric plant circa 1907. Hiked up on the electric company's land behind it- crazy views of Telluride from there.

Took dog and kids hiking.

Question - Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to the bumper to help the dog when he is jumping in the back? The top of the bumper has a hard plastic and when it is dry out he has no problem but when it is wet he loses his footing.

Grip tape? Or just a little bit of plastidip or bed liner?

Some quick little tweaks today.

1) installed my gobi gas springs today, cake
2) replaced my dealership licences frames, cheap solid black. Cake
3) installed my smittybuilt beaver step. Would have been cake, but like other hit mounted parts, it was wobble and would probably chip the hitch paint up and rust over time. So I wrapped the tongue in craft foam an so duct tape to hold it in place for install. Problem solved!

Installed my Icon shin guards on the rear shocks, removed the RCI skid plate for my last "free" oil change next week. Easy stuff.

Changed front and rear diff fluids, got a coolant flush, a fuel system cleaning, and greased the driveshaft zerks. I had hoped to install my new CVJ axle, but it hasn't shown up yet.

I also ordered an ARB Bushranger X-jack and tire repair kit to go with my new twin compressor
