Spent wayyy to much on lugnuts. Neo chrome muteki sr48's one package was delivered last night sold the extra 16 I had to a kid at work for his civic. The other pack should be here today. Sadly still cost me over $150. Liked these lugnuts had them on my g35 after the tire shop stripped my project kics r40's. So figured why not put them on the 4runner since I have the anti scratch sockets for these haha.

Psh fauxlocks ftw lol. I had a chance on going full on beadlock but my buddy who runs them on his pavement pounder reminded me that i don't want that type of upkeep. I carry around WD40 and a lighter just incase a pop a bead.

the 305's were my first choice but i didn't want to wait so i went with the matte grid's.

Checked methods sight after paying and see they added 2 new wheels to the line up the con 6 would look soooo good Oh well glad its done with I was going between the NV's, walker evans, kmc enduro beadlocks, or a used set of robby gordon beadlocks. Figured no need to cause more upkeep by going legit beadlocks, plus I've never debeaded a tire anyways even airing down to 10psi.

So hopefully tires within the next week or 2.

I love my 99, first Miata I've owned, but already decided there will always be one in the garage (unless something more fun with similar economics of ownership presents itself). I track and autocross this car, so I'm planning to do some sort of forced induction in the next year...leaning supercharger, but may still go turbo if I can sort out the cooling. Also planning to go with the 949 Xida suspension before the next autocross season starts. I'll bet that MP62 was a blast.

I get my fun car, as we now have the 4R as well as my wife's Subaru Forester XT too. The XT is fun as well, but wanted a bit more room and more off-road capability. The XT with it's X-Mode (similar to ATRAC) was more capable than I'd thought, but with it's car-like underbody wasn't willing to risk any real obstacles. The STi and Miata really were too similar, so now I have two dissimilar vehicles with clear and distinct purposes for each.

Welcome to the T4R and 99 Miata crowd! As you can see from the posts, there are a lot of dual 4Runner/Miata owners here (gotta get the Miata to the track!). Plan wisely or the T4R mod bug may end up competing with the Miata mod bug.

We think alike. I have a modded S2000 I use for a fun/AX/track car, and the 4Runner is for DD duty as well as off road play. Between both vehicles there really isn't anywhere I can't have fun. I also own a 2004 330i ZHP, but that's the old DD that's being put up for sale today.

That's kind of funny, I also have a modded S2000 for an autox/track car, the 4Runner for a DD, and got rid of a BMW recently. :thumb:

Yea I have a few family members like that!

Wife drives an S4 which keeps the true sports car urge at bay for now (no they are not even close to the same but it is much more a drivers car then an Accord).

so I hated the way the hooks in the back of my sr5 looked. I wanted to hang stuff from them like a clothesline effectively and did NOT like the fact that it slipped right off, so I went looking for a solution.

I found: DIY: FJ OEM Coat Hanger/D-Ring Mounts - Toyota FJ Cruiser Forum

This mod was very similar for my t4r except I had to add 1 step. I had to drill out the hole that was in the dring to accept the bolt that was originally in the hooks in my t4r. I also had to break off the piece covering the bolt, but i think it looks much better now:

Note: when removing from the jeep u need a phillips head screw driver. Try to find a jeep grand cherokee from '00 or '01 at the junkyard. My total cost was 3$ entry fee to the yard.

You get down to Florida cave country often? We try and go once a year for a few weeks to maintain our skills in caves and build hours on various rebreathers.

Changed the front and rear differential fluids, transfer case fluid, lubed the propeller shafts and changed the engine air filter. Last week I changed the oil and installed a Fumoto valve. I think I'm ready for winter.

I have some friends that are GUE...I have personal Halcyon stuff. We've gone the rebreather route for the last 10ish years.

Thats amazing. EE is "mecca" i guess. I'm hoping to figure out a way to setup a way to stand up doubles against the back of my rear seats as opposed to laying them down, and then slide them forward once the car is empty. Something like the racks that are available in Xterra's.
