Finally getting around to putting the finishing touches on my cargo plate. Today I added more tie down mounting options, counterbored my through holes so that the t-nuts will sit flush, and bored out the holes to take pan head bolts rather than the screws I had been using. This way it's completely modular and I don't have to worry about stripping the holes out.
I'm spraying Rustoleum bedliner on it now. Once that cures I'll set the t-nuts and re-install.

Nice looking sliders, but it seems like they'd catch on stuff if you're backing up in a tight situation.

Brought it home last night and transferred a lot of things over from my totaled Tacoma. PIAA led low beams, hid fogs, vled front and rear turn signals, diodedynamics reverse lights, and a bunch of Sylviana 194 LED interior and license plate light. Still have to get the festoon leds swapped but it's off to a good start so far. Feels good to be back in a 4Runner. And it was actually the wife's idea to see what the 4wd can do on our real first day having it.

Finally got my rear differential skid installed. I purchased from a third party and it was missing the pinion support bracket. I can't say enough about RCI's customer service and their rep on here [MENTION=90834]joshp767[/MENTION] . Super helpful and responsive in getting the part I needed plus some extra hardware.

And another trip in the books
Friday got home from work at 4 threw the moto-tote on the 4runner and loaded up and drove out and met a buddy in garlock friday night, spent the night next to some abandoned mines. Woke up around 8 with a gnarly hangover packed up camp then jumped on the bikes and went exploring to see what else there is out, and going places the 4runner can't get into found some really fun technical stuff found some more old mines. Cruised out last chance canyon fun in a jeep hell on a bike.
Rolled into Randsburg on the bikes around 3 ordered food at the general store took over a hour for our food to show up. Finish up eating walk outside and its raining and our camp site is about 25 miles away. Blasted back to camp loaded up and was home by 6:30 unloaded and everything cleaned up and put away by 8.
All in all epic trip no injuries, no bike issues, besides a couple funny fails and forgetting some camping stuff and having to jerry rig it everything worked out. Even with coming up with the plan Friday during lunch at work, we were about to call it off because it felt really rushed my girlfriend kept saying we were crazy that this plan is a stupid idea. So glad we went forward with it.
Saturday morning saw a matching team of white tacomas cruising out to burro schmidts tunnel, then in randsburg saw a sweet long travel 4th gen cruise thru with a bunch of built rangers. And we need to rid this plague of side by sides. I swear anyone that owns a RZR is usually the biggest douchebag around. Almost got taken out about a dozen times from them flying around corners, not slowing down and pulling to the side to pass, not giving a count of how many are in their group. Half of them have a beer in their cup holders no helmets on they ruin everything I swear. End rant.
Bike needs some maintenance now both front and rear sprockets are getting worn out, chain sliders, front and rear tires, full fluid change, check my valve adjustment, check my spokes and true my wheels had a couple hard hits on some rocks to the front wheel. I hate maintenance time on this bike probably be close to $700 once its said and done doing all the work myself.
Messed around with some long exposure with the dslr and my wide angle lens and have over 3 hours of go pro video to go thru. Probably going to crash my laptop with it trying to upload the footage :nono: These have no edit and quality is garbage since I just wifi transfered them from my camera to my phone.

Rained all day yesterday girlfriend was at her sisters and everyone was busy, so I went shooting at my hidden spot in the rain, setup my steel and hiked this wash for about a mile to see where it goes. Came back shot about 50 rounds packed up then went and cruised the hills. Came to realize how scary dunlops are in any slick mud haha can't wait to get some better tires. And I need all weather floor mats or maybe a start taking my truck out more instead. Sucks when you spend 3 days detailing your car after work then the weekend comes and you end up in the desert and have to do the same thing all over again Monday. Keeps me busy and chemical guys in business I guess :washing:

They only stick out a little bit from the body. Perhaps others wheel that closely to obstacles but if I'm an inch away from hitting the body then I'm in the wrong place.

I went for AVS Bugflector II. Actually I have AVS on my Tacoma for over 3 years now and I can't be more happy about this product. So this weekend Bismarck got one too.
AVS shield is mounted by 6 screws (no sticky tape), and it fits exactly like it was made by Toyota itself.
I did not install silicone "bumps" as they are not really needed. I'm attaching the label with part number if anyone with older 5th gen (2010-1013) is looking for it.
