Last week I had windshield replaced with OEM glass. Now it has 1 inch hole in it. It got smashed by the road rock this morning. Don't you just hate it?

Making appointment with the glass shop again. Maybe I should install quarter inch steel plate instead :ybrick:

Blacked out emblems

blacked out my emblems over the weekend..
i've plasti dipped for years and was tired of the fading over time..

i went with the NOX LUX black out kit.. the price is a little steep at $99 but the ease of installation and how long itll last def made the purchase worth while.
they say its back ordered for weeks but i received mine in a week.

they are snap on covers with adhesive peel strips; you dont have to remove your existing OEM emblems. they fit pretty flush and it looks great.
i just wiped down my emblems before with some water and rubbing alcohol; snapped them on and done.

sorry, FIONA is a little dirty.. she needs a bath lol.

i replaced mine in July... today it has a significant plum sized rock crater from a semi truck travelling the opposite way from me on a 2 way road, a vertical crack from near the rearview mirror about 4 inches long, and a chip in the passenger side about quarter size. Im not changing it for a while... and yes its :frusty: for SURE.

Found and fixed a loud rattle

For the past few days, I've heard a loud rattle on the passenger side. Turns out one of the screws that secure an OEM cross rail fell out, the rail was mostly dangling from the driver's side.

The screw is somewhere in the southeast, keep an eye out!

Apparently, it is not available as a separate item. Instead of paying over $100 for new cross bars for this one bolt, I replaced it with this stainless M6-1.00 x 30 screw.

If you happen to have a part number for this winged tie down bolt or have one laying around, please reply.

This is for the front, transmission, and transfer case skids. I'll add the fuel tank and rear diff later.
