nope.
the original design and first picture is by Scout Equipment Co. they make and sell it. i am modifying the design and using some of the ideas. ill post more pics as i progress.

Just kidding awesome work, like Russian nesting dolls. So many folks just buy parts and install and worse yet have a shop install it love to see the creative/custom effort put into things. Looks really good.
If you have not already should post a dedicated thread for them with some more details for those who want to leverage ideas.

Before: I loved the way it looked, just wanted it level and more meat on the road. The 20x7 and 245/60/20 geolanders didn't give it the feel that I wanted.
After: I am still torn. This was not the look I was looking for - but I didn't find any aftermarket wheels that looked anywhere near decent. I may end up plastic-dipping or vinyl wrapping the chrome. The Runningboards may also get vinyl wrapped and re-installed ... or n-fabs.

I bought my Tacoma new in 2010. My first child was born in early September of this year. My inlaws came into town for her birth and I drove my wife to the hospital in the 4Runner. My daughter was born the same day my truck hit 100,000. Unfortunately, my father-in-law got to do the honors as they were driving to meet us at the hospital.

Interesting. It looks like a tracker. Was that truck new or used or had it been test driven? Just curious.

It was brand new only had 3 miles on the ODO. They put them in as soon as the roll off the truck in case they get stolen is what my friend at the stealer-ship told me. It also allows them to disable the vehicle if needed...thank god my friend didn't want to play a joke on me!
