Backed out of my parking space at work with the wheel at full lock to the right in 4WD...on dry pavement.

Parking lot was icy this morning and add a stiff wind and a stupidly sloped design equaled me sliding around a bit. Put it in 4wd to help get up the weirdly sloped corner and forgot to take it out before I got back in this evening. Popped it out of 4wd before I finished the turn after I realized what was going on. Hope I didn't hurt it too badly.

It's actually a dual-mode light bar - i can run amber or clear. 31.5 Mictuning (about $220 off amazon at the time of purchase).

I run amber primarily when i'm off roading in the day/dusk since its a more stand-out color vs clear. When it's pitch black i obviously run the clear.

I got mine in May with 20k and I now have 35k, crazy how fast the miles fly. It is a super comfortable ride and I enjoy it.

Finally found a through trail that started in one region, meandered thru the mountains and came out in another. (Yay, no gates!) It got kinda hairy at some points cause it appeared unused for a long time. Had to do some clearing. Fortunately the trunks were old and punky, easily rolled out of the way. Lots of branches and brush. Definitely added pinstripeing. Got into a technical rock garden that made me nervous being alone and deep in the hills. Don't think roadside assistance would help me there. Pics don't do the boulders justice. Sliders and skids did their jobs today. 4-lo 1st gear and foot firmly on brake. Slow and steady. Still enough bangs and crunches to make me cringe. No under damage tho. Overhanging trees are why no roof rack or rtt. Found a use for my tree strap. (Forgot my saw.) The Tank is tough. That's why I tolerate 3.4 mpg in 4-lo. Good day.

Mounted the tredpros! Really wanted to mount to the side which I did, though not sure how this setup would hold up on the highway. Used Ubolts to the side rails.

LED interior lights were a bust

Bought the el cheap o interior LED lights from the guy on eBay, but they only worked for about a week or so and then they started to flicker... esp. the big ones that go in the dome light and rear cargo door lights (the main ones I wanted LED). I didn't expect much for 15$ but I expected more than one week.

Any recommendations on actual real LED lights that work and are good and bright, esp. for the rear hatch door?

passing through Clairemont Square:

Sorry for the poor quality of the photo, I was driving at the time and was lucky to get even this shot.
Note the twin propellers… this is an Amphicar, produced during the early to mid-60s. First time I ever
saw one was in 1963, in the Fourth of July parade in Redding, CA.
