Technically yesterday, not today

Yesterday I started my day at Discount Tire, getting KO2 275/70/17 E Loads, and they are perfect

Came home later on in the evening and decided to start dipping :music:

lots of fun was had. Now for daytime pictures, and more driving later today!!!

2016 T4R TEP Day Two: Wheels

I got my 2016 T4R TEP on Friday !!! I started Saturday morning bright and early. Drove up to LA to pick up a set of TRD Pro 17x7's from Toyota Parts and back down to OC to have American Tire Depot switch them out onto my stock tires. I'm so glad I did. Very inspired by this forum. Thanks for sharing everyone! op2:

Many thanks to [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] for the excellent DIY write-up on the oil change... and all the other forum members who put work into organizing our useful threads (read: [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] and many others). After what is probably a 10+ year absence of doing an oil change, I jumped on it with the son today and showed him how to change the oil and what different things (do) under the hood.

Great "dad" moment! [emoji16]

Post note: the RCI skid plate is a little messy when doing the oil change, but at least you don't have to remove the plate to access anything!

A buddy took us out to Tahuya State Park for some offroading fun on Saturday. Came back with loads of deep pinstripes. Banged my nfabs a few times on rocks and stumps as they got in the way of a few obstacles. We had a blast! Learned quite a bit about my rig and put that arb locker to use which made crawling over roots and rocks much easier.

Today I took out the porter cable and some cutting compound and got working on those pinstripes. Removed my nfabs too. Makes the truck look more lifted. Waiting for my RCI sliders to hurry up and here.

Added some goodies

I had my local Toyota Offroad Garage install the BajaRack, the LED lights, the SSO rock sliders and the ARB breather extension for both differentials. Everything came out great...

Started mocking up a CB antenna bracket off the roof bar tie-down bolt. Then installed a TRD skid plate and front shackle. Not a bad afternoon.

Don't forget to ground the antenna. The roof rack / rails are not an adequate ground.

I've been wrestling with that question. Do you think running a ground wire from the bracket to the roof rail mounting bolts would suffice?
